Lovely big room with huge floor to ceiling windows and a comfy bed. Ac and fridge in our room and thoughtful touches like somewhere to dry swimming costumes on the balcony. Lovely big balcony and chairs to sit in. Nice size bathroom and cupboard too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool is small (not big enough to swim lengths for exercise) but great for a dip. Surprisingly quiet give it’s right next to the motorway. But all the rooms are away from the road so you can’t hear it. We discovered it gets the thumbs up in the Lonely Planet guidebook to Andalucia as well.

Its location means you need to drive to go anywhere. It’s not easy to walk anywhere from the hotel. But a major issue as we had a car but did curtail us a little in our plans to eat out at night.

From outside the hotel seems unassuming but inside it’s sensational. The restaurant and bar just off reception have panoramic views over farmland and stunning views of the castle which is lit up at night. The rooms are *massive* with two very comfortable double beds (one each!) and I particularly loved the bathroom which had a claw foot bath (with bubble bath provided) and rain shower. Our room (3) had a private terrace from which it was lovely to view the sunrise and sunset and feel the sea breeze. The restaurant really is exceptional - it’s a star attraction for the town - and excellent value for the fine dining experience offered. The continental breakfast was insane - variety of fresh bread and pastries, eggs, hams, tuna, salmon, fresh fruit etc. Staff were friendly and welcoming and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

At a hotel of this calibre I would expect slightly dressing gowns/slippers for the winter months and slightly better pillows, but these are minor points and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You should be aware that the hotel benefits from stunning views of Salobreña due to its location about 35 mins walk away, 10 minutes of which is along the main road which can be a bit hairy. Taxis cost between 6-10 euros so I would recommend this rather than walking especially if you are a female alone as I experienced some harmless heckling on the way down. None of the above detracted from what a gorgeous boutique hotel this is.

In general it was a very pleasant stay for 3 days. We liked the views and the cozy atmosphere at the restaurant. The hotel is located at a hilltop and has great views. Besides: Great prices at the minibar. Cleaning/beds made every day. Water bottle filled up everyday. Parking spaces were always available. Late/free check in was available (check first)

The raw concrete walls in part of the room might not be for everyone but did not bother us. The power connections at the bed should be higher up as the bed table is in the way. TV could have a chromecast function.

The Hotel Miba was in a great location with stunning views of the sea and surrounding area. We were met with a very warm welcome and our room was spacious with excellent facilities and an impressive sea view. The rest of the hotel was clean, well appointed and the roof top swimming pool & terrace was a peaceful relaxing retreat. We went for the half board option, which was very good value for money. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choice and was served by a very helpful & attentive member of staff. Overall, an excellent one night stay and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved staying at this boutique hotel! Our room was huge with a beautiful terrace and the view was amazing! The staff were so kind and we loved the breakfast.

The only minor drawback was the pillows, which could have been more comfortable. Additionally, there was occasional smoke and noise from nearby farming activities, though this is understandable given the rural setting.

Super spacious room, gorgeous sea view, amazing rooftop swimming pool, high quality amenities, attention to detail, breakfast is great value for price.

Sometimes we had to wait long at the reception because it was not staffed. Rooftop bar was closed and we saw the telephone to order drinks only when we left. It is not a beach hotel: You have to walk 15-20 min down to the beach and then up the hill to go back (better go by car, beach parking available)

The room was one of the largest I have stayed in. The cleaners did a brilliant job of looking after us and the views were stunning. It was lovely waking up to them every morning. The rest of the staff from reception to the bar were lovely too. The pool was small, quiet, clean and very refreshing! This isn't touristy Spain, very little English is spoken, so be prepared to use hand gestures, smiles, google translate and enjoy Spain as it should be!

I would say the hotel is quite far from the town (20 mins walk) and the beach (30mins walk) if you are only on foot and you want to be in the middle of everything. For us, the remoteness, peace and quiet was a bonus, we can't wait to return!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were simple but healthy and tasty. We stayed in the Queen suite and it was perfect. The large terrace was ideal with great views.

The only slight downside was the proximity to restaurants. Eating in the hotel was really good but to go elsewhere was a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive. It helped us keep fit...

Hotel Miba has a unique style and setting which we just loved. We were blown away by the size of the room with the beautiful views from the terrace. We were greeted with a lovely welcome and felt very comfortable straight away. It is a small hotel with a personal touch yet they have designed in such a way that you can relax in a range of areas, either on the rooftop, in the bar or in your room. The food from the restaurant was exceptional.

We loved the floor to ceiling windows in our room but they were quite heavy to open.

Such a relaxing place to stay with friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable, spacious rooms and a great breakfast. A perfect overnight stop off. We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and it never disappoints.
