Beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. Located on the coast, in a beautiful setting. There were also fun activities for all ages and nice evening performances. The mattresses were very soft, and they cleaned your room every day if you left your card on the door.

The first thing I noticed upon entering the hotel was that the lobby looked very empty. I also think they should decorate it more tastefully, making it warmer and more inviting. The furniture in the bedrooms was dated, but that wasn't a problem. And they could at least provide a bottle of water as a welcome gift in the room.

Staff were very nice to us and diligent to answer any question or solve any problem. Everything was kept very clean, from rooms to pool area. The buffet supplied food with variety and quality. The fish was always fresh and delicious. The only thing I would have liked better offers was for dessert.

I didn't give this hotel a perfect classification because of its location. The beach across the street (Playa de Pozuello) looks pretty much abandoned by local authorities. The sand was dirty and sometimes the water quality seemed to represent a health hazard, such was the amount of debris and/or oily liquids floating. I would recommend going to Playa del Tesorillo or Playa de Velilla, both of them within a 5-10 minutes walk. In the surrounding there isn't much to do at night, so you end up staying at the hotel. The animation wasn't superb, but most of the times it was entertaining.

The room was spacious, and the king size bed was HUGE and comfortable. The solarium, for the use of guests who booked Deluxe rooms, was particularly welcome. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel staff were, without exception, helpful, friendly and hard-working.

The scrum at 10 a.m. each morning (when the pool opened) to grab the best located sunbeds. Obviously, it's not the hotel's fault, and in fact, the staff would remove towels from beds if they were put there prior to that time. The buffet meals were okay but it's best to eat breakfast early, otherwise it's incredibly busy, with queues for the coffee machines and toasters. We found it amusing that, in the evening, guests would form an orderly queue for entrance to the dining room at 7.30 p.m.! Best not to eat until later when the feeding frenzy has subsided.

Everyone was friendly. The hotel was very clean (There were a few cobwebs above the doors of some ground floor rooms - minor point!). The food was great. The animation team did a wonderful job! Evening entertainment was also very good.

The hot tub/jacuzzi was out of order! This was the second year in a row that we specifically booked a deluxe room to gain access to the jacuzzi and it was out of order! It had been out of order for at least a week. Some sort of update on the website regarding access to the jacuzzi would have been helpful.

Huge room 704 and the bathroom. Also, there is a big balcony with the sea view. Clean and comfy beds. Beautiful swimming pool, deepest side 2.15m. Varaiety of food (not many deserts or fruits). A few minutes walk to La bonita restaurant (last building on the street). Please, go. It's the most beautiful place.

The jacuzzi area is just for VIP customers. It should be info on the booking site ( I picked this hotel of it). Also, there was no info about the construction on the roof. I'm not sure if it’s for all customers too. The entertainment is poor. But we did not need it.

Very spacious rooms, with great balcony views, lovely pool area - the staff all work so hard and are so friendly. My nan has come here many times over the years & this was my first time with her - seeing them reunite with her and treat her so well was incredible and a credit to them all :) truly amazing value for money. The food was exactly what you expect for a buffet - nothing Michelin star but perfectly edible and looked forward to it each day! Lovely little beach bars and chiringuitos nearby too.

The hotel was great, I know the area very well and it is a bit of a distance from the main town of Almunecar but personally I really enjoy the walk along the front into town before dinner to build up your appetite. The hotel was great, very clean and well maintained. Would happily go again as would like to test out the spa.

My room was one of the furthest points away from the reception area so it was quite a walk as my mother does not like lifts but I did not mind as it was good for my step count. I am struggling to find a negative.

The rooms were spacious, and the pool looked nice (was too cold to swim). The hotel is in front of the little beach but on the outskirts of the town. Breakfast was ok, however the same on all 3 days we were there.

The food wasn't great. 1 day out of 3 was good. There wasn't much choice, but you get what you paid for :), so cannot complain, even with the breakfast and dinner included the overall stay was cheaper than booking an apartment.

The location of the hotel is good. The staff are of the top order especially the ones in the bar and restaurant. The area is always clean and tidy.

The dining room was moved from the normal one upstairs to a lower floor to facilitate renovation, however the move didn’t go well for us and there were many to be made by staff which took them away from their prime responsibility. After three days though the all was okay. The evening entertainment was the same as when we visited in March this year, they really need to sort this out as there must be more than 10 entertainers in the area.

We have been coming here for years and always enjoy our stay. Staff very nice in the comedor, evening entertainment is fun, nice pool and normally not a problem getting a bed. Food is good for the price. Wine is very reasonable.

Our two rooms were not together, despite booking a long time ago. Also, my children had a very disturbed night due to a romantic evening taking place in the room next to them!
