This hotel is fabulous. Our room and views + balcony were superb. Breakfast is wonderful, and we enjoyed one dinner. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Nothing not to like at the hotel. The hotel is high above the town. We found we could walk down easily but good to get a taxi back which is not expensive. We ate very good meals at Mar Azul by the beach and at La Botica with a rooftop restaurant by the parish church of the rosary near the castle - that also has amazing views.

The hotel is outside of town so if you want to be very near bars, restaurants and beach etc you need to bear that in mind. Plenty of parking if you come by car. The pool is 1 m deep if you want a proper swim but has amazing views.

From outside the hotel seems unassuming but inside it’s sensational. The restaurant and bar just off reception have panoramic views over farmland and stunning views of the castle which is lit up at night. The rooms are *massive* with two very comfortable double beds (one each!) and I particularly loved the bathroom which had a claw foot bath (with bubble bath provided) and rain shower. Our room (3) had a private terrace from which it was lovely to view the sunrise and sunset and feel the sea breeze. The restaurant really is exceptional - it’s a star attraction for the town - and excellent value for the fine dining experience offered. The continental breakfast was insane - variety of fresh bread and pastries, eggs, hams, tuna, salmon, fresh fruit etc. Staff were friendly and welcoming and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

At a hotel of this calibre I would expect slightly dressing gowns/slippers for the winter months and slightly better pillows, but these are minor points and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You should be aware that the hotel benefits from stunning views of Salobreña due to its location about 35 mins walk away, 10 minutes of which is along the main road which can be a bit hairy. Taxis cost between 6-10 euros so I would recommend this rather than walking especially if you are a female alone as I experienced some harmless heckling on the way down. None of the above detracted from what a gorgeous boutique hotel this is.

Lovely big room with huge floor to ceiling windows and a comfy bed. Ac and fridge in our room and thoughtful touches like somewhere to dry swimming costumes on the balcony. Lovely big balcony and chairs to sit in. Nice size bathroom and cupboard too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool is small (not big enough to swim lengths for exercise) but great for a dip. Surprisingly quiet give it’s right next to the motorway. But all the rooms are away from the road so you can’t hear it. We discovered it gets the thumbs up in the Lonely Planet guidebook to Andalucia as well.

Its location means you need to drive to go anywhere. It’s not easy to walk anywhere from the hotel. But a major issue as we had a car but did curtail us a little in our plans to eat out at night.

In general it was a very pleasant stay for 3 days. We liked the views and the cozy atmosphere at the restaurant. The hotel is located at a hilltop and has great views. Besides: Great prices at the minibar. Cleaning/beds made every day. Water bottle filled up everyday. Parking spaces were always available. Late/free check in was available (check first)

The raw concrete walls in part of the room might not be for everyone but did not bother us. The power connections at the bed should be higher up as the bed table is in the way. TV could have a chromecast function.

Really lovely hotel, with friendly staff. Easy to reach by road and easy to park (free parking, not underground). The room and bathroom were both very spacious. They even provided a diffuser attachment in the bathroom as standard for the hairdryer which I highly appreciated (this isn't common). The view from our balcony was incredibly good, with the bonus of comfy seating & footstools. We didn't do it, but the walk into town wouldn't be too long. It was very quick to drive into town, and down to the beach.

Hotel Miba is beautiful. The rooms, especially the suite, are stunning with amazing views. Lovely decor, spotless and comfortable. Bath in the bedroom with views over the sea made it special. Pool and rooftop bar a bonus. Friendly, helpful staff.

Location is a little far away to walk into town. Maybe more vegetarian choice on restaurant menu but otherwise nothing to dislike.

Absolutely loved staying at this boutique hotel! Our room was huge with a beautiful terrace and the view was amazing! The staff were so kind and we loved the breakfast.

The only minor drawback was the pillows, which could have been more comfortable. Additionally, there was occasional smoke and noise from nearby farming activities, though this is understandable given the rural setting.

The Hotel Miba was in a great location with stunning views of the sea and surrounding area. We were met with a very warm welcome and our room was spacious with excellent facilities and an impressive sea view. The rest of the hotel was clean, well appointed and the roof top swimming pool & terrace was a peaceful relaxing retreat. We went for the half board option, which was very good value for money. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choice and was served by a very helpful & attentive member of staff. Overall, an excellent one night stay and would definitely recommend.

Nothing of note

This is an excellent hotel and in fact it is easily a 4 star. The food and breakfast was just excellent. We were friendly greeted at the reception and the staff went beyond their normal duties. The view of the sea is so nice with a nice balcony on top !

Breakfast good but staff seemed under pressure yet only a few people eating.

We were stood at reception and staff did not attend. I could see them in the dining room. Told they were in a meeting. We wanted to check in what were we supposed to do ??
