On arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly receptionist, who opened the door for us and showed us to our room. The room was heated nicely had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bathroom and shower were amazing! We would stay again and highly recommend the facilities. Very close to shops and restaurants.

Melody is still relatively new and presents very well, looking brand new. Staff are very friendly and helpful, pre-arrival communication was excellent. Th eroom was warm when I arrived on a cold day as staff had turned the electric room heater on. WiFi was very good. Car parking was easy. I can't comment on the TV as I didn't use it. I have stayed before so knew exactly what to expect. Pretty convenient for Gore town centre.

For what seems like a fairly recent new-build, the complete lack of heating in the bathroom and only an electric heater in the room is rather surprising, as was the lack of an electric blanket. Having said that, the heater warmed the room up quickly and there was an extra fleece blanket provided.

Excellent room including impressive new bathroom. Heating and insulation of room was good considering a cold morning with frost outside (did not realise until I went outside). Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and good water pressure. Room serviced every day if I wanted it. Bottles of water provided. Nothing to seriously complain about.

Small fridge did not have freezer compartment. Limited room to work on desk. Fan in bathroom did not keep mirror free from fog. Could have had a simple breakfast as an option. All these things are pretty minor compared to great positives.

This is my 2nd stay at Melody. Our room was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. We liked that there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, water and a sweet treat provided. The room was very quiet. Gorgeously decorated and epically clean. The location was handy to town. There was good information in the guest info sheet. Thank you very much.

There was nothing we didn't like. My last stay was 3 years ago and it was based on that visit that I booked Melody for us this time.

The experience was nothing short of spectacular. Beautifully laid out, every detail thoughtfully arranged creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere. The art and ambience captivating, making it a pleasure to spend time there. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and courteous throughout, truly amazing experience. Without a doubt, I will return.

There was nothing I did not like.

It was immaculate. Everything is brand new, the carpets and towels are plush, the room is soundproof and the bed very comfy. I had the best nights sleep in a long time . The bathroom is beautiful with good shower and quality fittings Lots of extras- nice biscuits, great selection of teas. Big bottles of good brand shampoo and body wash . Well worth the money

no decaf options no knives or forks, bowls etc despite there being a microwave .

Warm friendly welcome from the manager, spacious room with a very comfi bed, spotlessly clean, spacious bathroom with good shower, nice little touches like fresh picked rose, complementary water & biscuits. A good central but quiet location. We will definitely remember this place and book again when we are in Gore. Many thanks Ana!

Everything was perfect!

Daniel received us and he was wonderful! What an asset to have him. They even put a fresh fuse in my room. Every detail of the stay was great!

Location was good but not exceptional. However it was close to the restaurant we chose which was great.

the location was very close to the town centre. I had a room at the back and there was no traffic noise. The room was very well appointed with lovely amenities.

I felt inflating the price up just because it was the Gold Guitars weekend was a bit exorbitant, as the room is usually more like $160 and I had to $200 a night.

Cleanliness and comfort were very good. Location was good. TV had plenty of options to watch.

The kitchen facilities were somewhat lacking. Although there was a microwave, kettle and refrigerator there was no kitchen sink which made filling the kettle, washing dishes etc having to be done in the bathroom basin beside the toilet which is not really desirable.
