Location was quiet, unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Full kitchen was great. Comfy beds, we all slept well, and we had plenty of space. Heating was perfect, didn't adjust it the whole time we stayed.

There was no local info compendium in the unit on where to eat, what to see, or phone numbers to contact the office etc, which would've been useful. On our last night, the person in the next unit was singing loudly into the night well past midnight, possibly drunk, this wasn't fun. Didn't sleep until they quietened down. There was no anti-slip mat in the showèr/bath so showering was a bit treacherous. There was something wrong with the sky channels, and we missed the last ten minutes of a movie because it timed out and requested a pin. For the price we paid, and comparing it to other motels, these small things should be taken care of and rectified.

I am so happy to have rediscovered this lovely little Gem of a Motel. I used to stay here regularly on business trips for 20 years. So when I needed a place to stay over the Christmas Season this year, I opted to go somewhere tried and trusted. And I am so grateful that I did. Kelly is so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are great too. I will be back.

Great central location for daily excursions to places of interest i.e. Invercargill, Te Anau.

Attention to cleaning detail especially in this era of virus. Did notify the manager of obvious issues. When a property lists Laundry as facilities for paying guests then makes one feel you are asking for a service that's an inconvenience. Our stay was five nights and our trip is for two months..we certainly are comparing our accommodations and the services offered and value for money.

Quiet, large, roomy 2 bedroom unit - a bit dated but comfortable. Big lounge, dining area, good water pressure in shower. Handy to CBD. Toilet separate from bathroom. Two reclining armchairs a nice touch. Separate kitchen with a full size stove and oven.

Laundry was out of action which was disappointing for our 6-night stay. Shower was over the bath, not ideal for older folk.

A cozy 2 bedroom unit that felt like a little house. Nicely presented. Friendly hosts. The best milk for a cuppa I've had in a long time. Easy parking. Quiet. The pillows were so good that I've ordered some for home!

The only thing that would improve our stay would be a more modern tv. But it's not a deal breaker.

Great kitchen facilities, enjoyed the separate bedroom. Awesome shower. The bottle of milk on arrival was thoughtful, but the heater in the room being turned on ahead of our arrival was outstanding.

The spa bath jets were weak so the wife said. I couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to go. But I didn't ask our host, as I wasn't bothered as I go to bed to sleep.

The location was close to the township for shopping and eating. The suite we had was very roomy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The heater was quite noisy but bearable. We thought the TV was small for the size of the suite.

Was easy to find, booking in was great as the host was friendly and very helpful. The room was so well set out and really met our needs , great bed which was so comfortable. We agree that this was one of the best motels we had stayed in for a great while.

There was nothing we did not like and would recommend this motel to friends and family if they were travelling to Gore.

It was warm and had two bedrooms which was nice, compared to others that have two beds in the main room.

The shower curtain and the metal shower floor. Bathroom needs a bit of an update. There is no insulation between the units and I could hear the person next door quite loudly when I was trying to sleep.

Great self contained accommodation. Clean, comfortable and spacious enough, due to separate bedroom, location is excellent. A big thank you to management for taking care of some personal washing/drying, this was very much appreciated. Would stay again.
