Everything, particularly the family running the business: You feel immediately that they love what they are doing. That sets the spirit in this hotel. I could continue praising the food etc, but leave it with the remark that the location of the hotel at the foot of one of the mountains around Meran is also very beautiful.

Quiet location, lovely views, excellent range of breakfast items, very delicious dinners available at their restaurant. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice big rooms, with lovely showers. Nice indoor pool and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Close enough to the centre while still feeling wonderfully isolated. Closest I have ever come to stealing a pillow!

The breakfast was excellent: quantities of fruit, cheeses, local specialties etc. Best of all: the outdoor pool with very clean and pleasantly warm water, set in a pretty garden setting with a view of the mountains. Really an exceptional, first class hotel. Very friendly staff. Many art books at the guests' disposal!!! The library! Original art - sculptures by W. Senonner. Beautiful!!!

Hardly anything: just we would have appreciated two reading lamps by the bed.

The people at Villa Tivoli are outstanding! Very nice and always helpful. They serve a great breakfast including my wife's new favorite the "Gugelhupf" which we had on the shaded outside terrase overlooking Meran.

During our visit the temperatures were very hot and AC would have been great but we let with open windows which worked as well.

Everything! This is a really special place. It’s family-run, and the care that goes into making guests feel welcome is spectacular. The staff were lovely, the room was huge, with wonderful views. The breakfast was the best I think I’ve ever had - so many homemade cakes and fruit compotes! We will be back.

Amazing Hotel with beautiful views the staff were helpful the food in the restaurant what’s the best we had during our holiday. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

We didn’t want to leave!

The location is superb. Great views & restful atmosphere. Superb outdoor infinity styled pool just what one needs after negotiating Verona's autoroute interchange with a peage in the middle! Family run with attention to every guest's needs. Breakfast can only be described as lavish for the wide offering & the ability to request as one guest did an omelette. Dinner was a treat from a grilled octopus entree to grilled veal.

After the relaxing swim a shower & shave to recover from the Verona Interchange & incessant roadworks, I had left Cannes at 06:00, a bloody mary was beyond the barman's skill set regrettably

We were given the upgraded room which is facing the apple plantation. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Rodolfo (not sure I have the correct spelling) is very welcoming and an excellent host. The restaurant chef (not sure his name) knew what we wanted and so we had our dinner at the restaurant on both nights. The property is also close to the Merano town.

Wonderful setting in lush gardens overlooking the countryside of Meran. The pool is spectacular. Nice breakfast, almost spoiled for choice. For dinner, the restaurant is very good and the wine recommendations were excellent. In fact, we ate in more often than we planned. Very quiet location, yet in 15..20’ you can walk to Meran city centre. Host and staff are very friendly and accommodating and open to special requests. Our suite was large and clean. The view was amazing.

No complaints, all good.
