The breakfast is located on the rooftop terrace, with a beautiful view overlooking Caltagirone. The B&B is small, cozy, and has great people. The breakfast is like a parade of delicious foods, with both sweet and savory options (and fresh-boiled eggs!). The host gave us so many tips of the town and greeted us with coffee/ tea & juices. It was such a lovely stay, and Caltagirone is just a nice pleasant place to visit.

Nothing. There are some steps to walk—perfectly designed to burn off the delicious Sicilian dessert, but they can be a bit tough for senior folks.

Very nice location in the middle of the staircase Scala Santa Maria del Monte. The host is very friendly and makes everything to keep us comfortable. He explained the city hotspots and gave us tips on good restaurants.

As it is in the middle of the staircase, you need to be in a good physical condition to climb it up and down 😊 But you can use the lateral streets where the stairs are easier to climb.

The hotel is located in the good spot of the town, from the balcony where I can overlook the Scala Santa Maria de Monte. The hotel's very well decorated in all area. The host picked me up and drove me back to the Bus station. The breakfast is good and it's served on the top level where people can overlook the city.

Perfect location, right on the famous staircase of Santa Maria del Monte. The room was well-equipped and comfortable with its own small balcony, and the terrace where breakfast is served is so nice to wake up to in the morning. The breakfast spread is also very generous. Gaetano and his wife are friendly and kind hosts.

Wonderful location on the famous steps. Parking possible on the 'main' road above. Breakfast on the lovely terrace with a view was a feast, and we really did feel like pampered guests in the house.

The bed was a bit hard - I have back issues - but we found most B&Bs and hotels in Sicily the same.

We had a lovely stay at Gaetano's place. The room was well located, clean and spacious and the bathroom (and large shower) was great. Gaetano was a wonderful host, welcoming us with coffee and snacks and gave us great tips for visiting Caltagirone. He was very kind and was available when we had questions. The breakfast provided was also delicious. Definitely recommend staying here if you're in Caltagirone!

The owner provided great information about the city's history and recommended restaurants for dinner. Very generous breakfast. Great location on the stairs. Beautiful city views from the room and breakfast area when the weather allows.

Stunning views and friendly hosts. Lovely food and kind reception .In the heart of the old city. Readily available parking just behind the property . It takes courage to drive the streets but doable.

A very warm welcome with a drink and fresh cake on arrival. Perfect views while having breakfast on the small terrace. Great central location on the main steps.

The room is quite compact.

Centrally located in the historic centre with free parking a 10 min walk away. (Very safe.) These were the best breakfasts in all of Sicily! (I stayed at about 10 different B&Bs and had 28 breakfasts in Sicily).

Occasional bad sewer odour in the bathroom.
