On arrival my carer and I ( I am disabled) were made most welcome by the staff not withstanding it was at the evening meal and the restaurant was busy, time was made for us and everything explained very clearly and politely. My career and I were shown to our room that as requested had separate beds. The time for breakfast was explained and we were informed that we would be in plenty of time for an evening meal that we both enjoyed immensely. The bed was comfortable and as far as I am aware the bed my carer slept in was of the same standard. Breakfast was straightforward and plentiful for both of us, as was the evening meal on the second day and breakfast on the morning we left to carry on on our journey.

I cannot think of anything that should require fixing as there was nothing as far as my carer and I could see that was broken

Our side room offered a stunning view of the sun setting over the sea (late March), which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was bright, peaceful, and well laid out, with a comfortable bed and a cleverly arranged sleeping area. The beach and the location in general were also nice and added to the relaxing atmosphere. It was a pleasant stay (despite the rainy morning)—ideal for one or two nights, but it might feel a bit limited for a longer holiday.

The bathroom was extremely small, with no counter space to set anything down, which made it a bit inconvenient. There were no toiletries provided, and the room lacked basic amenities like a fridge or kettle. Interaction with the staff was very limited, as they seemed understandably busy running the restaurant, which was always full.

Beautiful location near the beach. Very friendly receptionist, helped me with printing a document. Clean and comfortable room. Comfy bed.

Too noisy. You can hear through the door what people are saying who are passing by. If you have a room with a window towards the parking lot, it can be a challenge finding some quiet time; especially during the summer while you like keeping the windows open. Other than that, it is a very good price/quality ratio.

Beautiful located hotel directly at the sea with renovated and very spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast - quality comes before quantity here. The staff is friendly, parking is available directly at the hotel, although spaces are quite narrow. The restaurant is also a recommendation, offering excellent fish dishes on the beautiful terrace.

While we liked the spacious room and the access to the terrace, it was first a bit unusual that it was shared with other rooms. However, we got used to it ;-)

I was only at the property for 8 hours so a full review is not possible. However, the room was clean, excellent location, lovely staff and a decent bed after a long day of travel.

Coffee and tea making facilities would be nice, plus toothbrush and maybe shaving facilities for men. There was a small box with certain items for use but it was in the wardrobe. I would suggest to leave in the bathroom.

The room was clean with good supply of toiletries and a hairdryer. The view was over the sea as requested. The staff were helpful and very nice to us.

Would have liked to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The instructions/guides to local facilities were only in german with no translation

Perfect location at the beach. Altough we had booked backyard view, the view was over a nice rose garden in perfect shape . Thanks to the house owner. Cosy restaurant with ok prices. Very nice staff.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, great food at dinner, location directly at the beach close to the Laboe Mariner memorial and submarine.

The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent. Visiting U-995 has been a bucket list item for me, so the location could not have been better.

The location could not be better, right on the beach and close to several locations of interest to me: the u-boat and the Naval Memorial.

I honestly can't think of anything that annoyed me. Maybe the view? Wasn't the best in this room. But I booked literally the evening before, so I have no right to complain. It's summer and that's all that was left - I understand.
