A very friendly lady at the reception desk explained everything to us clearly. She informed us that our room had been upgraded 😄. We were really grateful for that. We were accommodated in a comfortable room with a fluffy carpet all over the floor overlooking the yacht harbour. A mini bar was also included in price. A wonderfully decorated dining area made our breakfast time even more pleasant. There is a menu to choose the breakfast from. I need to add that it was really delicious, we were both satisfied with it. Cutting the long story short, it’s been our first time there but hopefully, not the last one. Thank you !😀

The yacht club is in a beautiful building - beautifully proportioned and the room was also more like a suite than a double bedroom. The staff on reception and the night porter were both very friendly and helpful. We also had a view of the water. Nice breakfast was included in the price.

It was too far to walk to the city but there was a nice restaurant nearby and the night porter organised a taxi for us.

We had a great time here. We had a nice balcony with a perfect view to the bay and the marina below. The room was spacious and classy. Great bathroom with both a big shower and a tub. Parking in closed space right outside. The staff were very friendly and welcoming they all spoke English. We got helpful information about the area and where to eat. It’s a perfect location for us. We will come back and visit.

Just wish they didn’t have carpet on the floor in the room.

Allthough it was a wonderful historical building with great connections to sailing the hotel has great modern facilities. Clean, great shower and friendly professional staff. I will certainly stay again next time in this part of Germany

No onsite bar but a really good one a minute’s walk away

Location, comfort, customer service, breakfast- all impressively outstanding! My previous experience staying in Germany was not so good like this one. For sure I will choose only this hotel if ever back to Kiel.

The bedroom with a view on the marina, most comfortable bed, lovely large bathroom with a bath.

The breakfast wasn’t the best, with very strange little cups of tasteless yoghurt or a smoothie.
