We arrived in our own - car parking was very easy and it was easy to recharge our car. Very polite and helpful people at the Reception made the check-in seamless. My wife and I had a suite with a grand view of the inner Kiel harbour so we had a good meeting place with our daughter and grandchild, who had a normal room, that they also were very satisfied with. We were a little sad to learn that the hotel restaurant Pier 16 was closed in the evening but fully understand it as our visit was in the off-season. It lead us to find good restaurants outside the hotel. The Atlantic is situated close to a small ferry that offers trips inside the harbour and to the “must visit when in Kiel” Uboot memorial at Labou. Shopping opportunities are manyfold in the vicinity of the Atlantic I forgot to mention the hotel breakfast which gave us a very good start every morning and again manned by very helpful and very polite staff. I also met the cleaner and the person that refilled our minibar - again very polite and helpful persons. All in all we had a memorable and excellent stay at the Atlantic Kiel. I have already strongly recommended the Atlantic to my work collegues and friend and other family members. Many thanks for the chokolate in our room and for making our stay a very pleasent one. Staff was super polite and knowledgeable at the front desk and in the restaurant. Very warm and pleasant staff in the bar at night. We loved that you got a homemade smoothie for your breakfast. Room was large, clean, modern and had everything we wanted. Location is perfect if you want to explore Kiel city. Good parking spots, bus and train right outside as well. Mall and shopping close. Great view over the water.

The breakfast was OK and by no means bad! However it did leave a little to be desired, for a perfect rating.It had the bare minimums of a typical hotel breakfast selection. Could have had more homemade things or some Northern German specialities to give it a more unique feel.

We had a great stay! The room was spacious with a lovely sea view. Since it was Easter, the hotel provided us with chocolates and a puzzle to color, which was a sweet surprise that made our child very happy. Breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect for shopping, catching ferries, and just a short walk from the train station. The staff were very helpful. Highly recommend, especially for families!

The check in staff were phenomenal! So kind and helpful! We were spending a night prior to our MSC cruise. The MSC shuttle bus pick up is across the street, right outside the Rodizio restaurant. We left our luggage at the hotel, went shopping, then showed up to the MSC shuttle an hour before our boarding time and it was easy! The location cannot be beat. The hotel is also across from the train station, you see it right as you walk out. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

unfortunately the AC stop blowing during the night..? Even when we enter the room we had to switch the AC on and wait for a while to get some cold, even woth open window.. we had some arum flowers as decoration at the restaurant for breakfast, but generally speaking the decoration is minimalist .

If you have the chance to upgrade to a suite, do so, the view over the Kieler fjord is amazing with its large ferries sailing daily to Sweden and Norway and the smaller ferries to places like Laboe with its fish restaurants. The suite is beautifully furnished. Personnel are very friendly. Breakfast room and restaurant all excellent. As seniors we found the special parking spaces for seniors especially welcoming!

The location of the hotel was superb, right in front of the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive to our needs, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, the location was the standout feature of this hotel. I would highly recommend staying here.

Arrived late and without checked in baggage...,thank you british airways! The charming young man on reception...Olé?...went out of his way to help...lent me international adaptors etc and really helpful generally. 4 days here...bag never arrived but staff could not have been more helpful with support and advice.

Very high standard rooms with good ventilation and comfy beds. Breakfast was very good with high-quality food and beverages. The location is very good with plenty of shopping centres and restaurants around. Hotel parking was very good with direct access with an elevator.

We planned to bring our dog with us, they provided food bowl, dog mat and food for our dog. That's so sweet. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best.
