I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Unique by ATLANTIC in Kiel. What I appreciated the most was the location – perfectly situated, with everything within walking distance and a charming neighborhood vibe. The interior design of the hotel was also impressive: stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully put together. A small but delightful touch was the radio in the room, which added a warm, personal atmosphere to my mornings and evenings. I would definitely recommend this place!

There were a few things I didn’t like. It wasn’t possible to book a room with breakfast included in advance, which was a bit inconvenient. There was no bottled water provided in the room, no mini fridge, and the bed was too soft for my liking.

Had a very good stay at this hotel. Only stayed there 1 night after our cruise finished, but lady at reception managed to give us a room earlier than 3pm, as we have arrived very early. There is a storage room to store big luggage’s and small lockers free of charge. Hotel is in a very good location, bus station just behind the building and train station is less than 3 mins walk away. Even though our room faced the bus station, there was no noise from the buses ( we stayed on the 3rd floor) Room is very stylish, comfortable bed, soft bedding , very nice bathroom. Can’t fault the hotel 10/10.

Great, responsive people at the front desk who made us feel welcome. Loved the vibes and decor of the hotel, plus it has a nice cafe at the lobby. It's very conveniently located near the Hauptbahnhof with ease of access to transport options (train/ferry/bus) and a range of food/shopping within walking distance.

If you get the basic room like me (Skipper Plus) just note that there are no amenities in the room (kettle/cups/mini fridge).

Great location only a short walk from the train station and Great value for money. Our room was clean and spacious while the bed was a little soft which is exactly the way we like it. The Bathroom room was a great size and the shower powerful. The cafe downstairs had excellent coffee and pastries.

Only thing the room lacked was a bar fridge.

Great location right next to the train station, bus and ferry terminal. The rooms were modern, comfortable and offered plenty of space. I had a room with a view on the water and a comfortable bench seat in the window. Very friendly and helpful staff - I arrived late and they told me about restaurants close-by with the kitchen still open. The café that is in the lobby is excellent.

The shower temperature was a little unpredictable.

Location is in a few minutes walk from the train station, many bus options to reach places in the city. The room was very nice: the design, the facilities, cleanliness. They provide shampoo and soap, they also have hair dryer available. I didn’t use it, but they seem to have lockers to store your bags if you come earlier or leave later and do not want to carry all your luggage with you.

They do not have water, tea, kettle, cups in the room. I arrived late and supermarkets were already closed, would be really nice to get some drinks or snacks at least at the lobby if not provided in the rooms.

Staff were very friendly, bed and room were very comfortable, and location was excellent for access to travel options and getting to anywhere in the city centre

Very specific and minor issue but for some reason the bathroom sink plug would get stuck sometimes but that really was the only downside I could think of

Nice spacious room with good facilities and ecological awareness obvious. Very convenient to the train station and taxis, but it is not the hotel on the corner nearest the taxi's. It is further down the road, a red brick building.

We were delayed by the train schedule and tried to contact the hotel by various methods, phone, text, email, but had no responses to any to reassure us they would be open after midnight, so we were stressed, not knowing if we could get in. The check in on the booking sheet should say open through the night to help travellers.

It was very friendly and welcoming entry, staff at desk very late for assistance. Views were exceptional. Access to Kiel Week was direct before the door. Quick access to the Bahnhof and to Sophienhof (for shopping and food) also. We were able to easily take the train to Hamburg for sightseeing. (Beware of upcoming trains strikes!) Also connection for the direct bus to the Hamburg airport with Kielius was behind the hotel.

As with many hotel rooms today, they use mattress covers that increase sweating. Also the covers were a bit heavy for the season. It was only possible to stay comfortable for sleep exactly as arranged by the hotel with the AC at 20C and using the duvets provided. It would be nice, again as with any European hotel, to have the option of a full double mattress instead of the split mattress set up. Instructions for the the coffee maker and and the dishwasher in English could be useful.

We loved that everything was right at the hotel. The carpark in the basement where the elevator runs direct to the hotel, the car is safe. luxurious Caffe in the lobby and the hotel location.....in the city center!! spot on. We loved every single thing!!! Also the smell of new baked bread in the basement and lobby.
