Hotel Alahuar is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and offer beautiful views. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its amazing cuisine. Every meal is a delightful experience, showcasing incredible flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, and the amenities are fantastic. Highly recommend for a truly relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

While our stay was truly enjoyable, there were a couple of minor points. We noticed the fridge in the room was a bit weak, not keeping stuff as cold as we would have liked. Additionally, while generally clean, we did spot a few areas that could have used a bit more attention during cleaning

We had one of the villa rooms and the view down the valley was fantastic. Watching the sunrise was magical. We were with a group of walking friends. We had dinner - was was superb, breakfast which was excellent and lunch the next day, which was also very good and the hotel catered for a group of 35.

The only thing that could have been better was to serve the tables at the lunch one at a time, instead of bringing all the meat seconds togther for all the tables followed by all the fish seconds, and then all the chichen seconds together It meant that the people at the same table didn't get they second courses together and we didn;t eat at the same time. Not very convivial.

We stayed in a " bungalow " which really is a small suite with a mezzanine level and a small balcony.. View is stupendous looking down the gorge. Room was kept warm as when we stayed In Feb as the evenings could be chilly. Great base for walking with lots of way marked trails. (DWG walking guide and map recommended Amazon ) Plenty of car parking. Half board is essential as there are not many places to eat in the village or supermarkets especially in the winter months. Excellent food ,reasonable wine list and lounge/bar area. Table service evenings / buffet breakfast. Up a very steep hill from the village so do not expect to be up and down it too often!

Some of the evening main dishes were a little too salty for my taste but that was a minor issue

Staff is very friendly, nice and peaceful location, rooms and all the hotel are cleaned daily so it is very clean. Bed and pillow is comfortable. Breakfast has really good selection. Swimming pool is clean. Overall it’s a great place to stay and enjoy your holiday.

Distance from the main roads or cities. It is a bit far, but if you’re not planning to travel a lot and want just to relax it is not an issue then.

Lovely staff, clean room and nice view from the balcony. The restaurant is absolutely excellent!! We dined there three times on our trip and every meal was delicious, locally sourced and fresh.

Not sure how effective the air conditioning in our room was but it was ok. Also be prepared for a hike up to the hotel if you're not driving, but I think most people had cars.

Room ( junior suite) was spacious and lovely and warm

I have to say first that everything was almost perfect The only minor annoyance was the shower ! The bathroom definitely needs updating with a walk - in shower. This could still be in keeping with the rustic charm, but modern. There was no shower curtain and the shower head would not fit on the wall bracket, so subsequently there was water over the tiled floor during showering and this was dangerous. The bathroom towels were thin and of poor quality for a 4 star hotel.

Good size bedroom with comfortable bed, bottle water, 40"+ TV on wall and plenty of space for clothes. Good size shower cabinet with quality products. Hairdryer on wall. Breakfast had a vast choice of good quality products. Ample parking with some covered spaces available but these were on uneven and very rough ground. Would return again if in the area.

Wi-fi in room 204 very hit-and-miss. Coffee at breakfast time had an odd taste to it.

Our stay at the Alahuar Hotel was wonderful. The location is fantastic, the bungalow was beautiful, tidy, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. There was a pool with sun loungers. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The restaurant dishes were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Shower pressure in jacuzzi room very low. Dinner quality inconsistent ie ribs one night great 2 nights later not very good. Iberian pork first night dry 2 nights later lots of sauce and different/more vegetables

This hotel was just beautiful. From the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave everything was exceptional. The views of the surroundings were breathtaking. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The suite was warm and inviting and you could even enjoy the vista from the jacuzzi. The food was delicious with a very different menu. For the whole experience it was great value for money. Cannot wait to return.

There was nothing that we could complain about.
