A fab hotel! It was a hot day and we walked into reception, to a most lovely aircon building and smiling faces! A lovely warm welcome by the staff and the owners gave us information about the local area and opening times for restaurants. We were given a choice of rooms and views as the hotel had some availability and chose beautiful large double with a balcony overlooking El Castill and the hotels garden. There was nothing we needed, the large spacious bathroom was fully equipped and stocked with toiletries including toothpaste and new toothbrushes, a hairdryer, and plenty of towels. The shower was fabulous! The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra pillows or blankets if needed, but as we visited during hot weather, we were happy to be using the aircon instead! Perfect location for sightseeing in a quieter part of town but minutes walk. Breakfast was incredible! So much choice and freshly made drinks and coffee. Just fabulous!

Clean rooms, not big but with comfy bed. Large bathroom with toiletries including pack of new toothbrushes which was great as I’d forgotten mine, plenty of hot water. Nice glassed in balcony, sliding windows but my view wasn’t brilliant. I turned up to check in at just gone 3pm & there was a note on the door to say it was staff break 2-4pm. There was a number to ring & someone came straight away but I did feel guilty I’d disturbed their break. The breakfast is amazing, probably the best continental one I’ve had, lots of delicious treats. Location is very good, about 150 metres to carpark although it does get full after mid morning & I wouldn’t want to attempt it in the summer season. From the carpark it’s a 2 minute walk across the road to the compact, picturesque centre & medieval castle. Lots of nice little shops, many selling very reasonably priced leather bags.

Advertised as having restaurant but it’s only for breakfast. Guadalest shuts down in the evening so not a lot of choice for food, although a good restaurant Venta across the road from the carpark.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The room was warm in winter and it was great to have the extra space of the covered balcony. The owners were wonderful and looked after us extremely well, even driving us through the mountains at night to the nearest hospital when I needed medical treatment.

We had no complaints - everything was just right for us.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Good size bedroom. Excellent wi,fi. Nice views. BREAKFAST - for a Continental breakfast this has to rate as 5*. Plenty of choice, quality products.

The hotel is just on the edge of the village and is on a steep hill. But you only feel the pain when you return to the hotel. Would have been nice to have some English TV channels. But the breakfast and the clean rooms compensated

Nice rooms our room had a nice outlook to the mountains. the room was clean and had air con, tv, balcony. Bed was good and everything was clean , looked nice and was a decent size. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and again was spotlessly clean with plenty of shampoo etc . There was a vending machine cooler outside on the landing with drinks and food with microwave to heat up any food you bought. Good breakfast in the morning with lots of choice. Staff were very nice and explained everything about the room and village in very good detail. All in all a very nice and comfortable stay. I would definitely book again when I return.

Parking was ok and on the street , and you can find a place near the hotel.

Sincerely presentable and service-minded hostess/attendant, exemplary cleanliness and a particularly rich breakfast table. Modern facilities/rooms combined with original architecture. Central and at the same time very quiet area, view and balcony directly towards el Castelle. Recommended to everyone!

Felt as at home, clean and even dressing gown was available. Positively surprised about the breakfast - huge selection and warm food served! Vending machine at corridor was very convinient. Hotel placed in very nice historical village.

everything was nice but I would recommend the owners to improve breakfast not in terms of variety but in terms of quality some more home made products would be a big improvement less industrial products some home baked bread and jam and some quality cheese could be much better then a lot of variety but rather industrial products

Everything was perfect. Clean large room with glass curtain balcony. Large bathroom with loads of towels. Spotless. Staff very informative and helpful. Breakfast loads to choose from. Location just near the car park nice and quite.

Family run business - we had the warmest welcome and the hosts thought of everything! The room is equipped to the last little touch. You really can tell the hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. And breakfast was to die for!
