It felt like home. I’d a village setting within a building. Desk manager Manfred is very welcoming and warm. Housekeeping by Maria Jose is exceptional. She made sure we were well stocked with blankets for the chilly mountain nights. Checked all was in order, brought a microwave to our room. She really made us feel like at home.

A great Hostel, with simple but spacious accommodation. The check in clerk was friendly and helpful. We loved our little balcony with a view of the street and mountains behind,

The shower head only just made it to the hook on the wall. Sound proofing between rooms was not great and there was quite a bit of noise from the road.

Superb value for a basic hotel. Room cleaned daily, shower power excellent and hot, free car park opposite, near to a number of shops and food outlets, free Wifi, English spoken at reception, electronic key card entry, TV and aircon. Just about everything covered, can't say rairer than that!

Some minor problems but all sorted out promptly.

The location was perfect for my business needs and the cafe onsite was super convenient, as allowed me to catch a quick bite and continue working, without loosing at lot of time. It was very near important places of interest, although my work and arrival times didn´t allow for me to visit. The room was clean, had everything I needed and the bed very comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful.

The facilities in the room were excellent including a hairdryer. I was able to work in a quiet environment when needed and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Maybe a coffee/tea facility in the room, but this didn't negatively impact my visit.

Great little hotel for a very good value. The beds were very comfortable, nice location with great views. There is a nice café downstairs that has great prices for drinks and tapas. Aircon works very well and much needed in the summer months. The day receptionist was very kind and helpful, gave us great tips on where to go.

There was no one at the reception when we arrived so I went to the bar and the lady was bartending + reception which is a little walk away through the hotel so make sure, if there is no one at the reception, you need to ask at the bar. + Housekeeping are a bit loud in the morning.

Leon Dormido is like a home away from home. Great location for mountain walks and peace. Manfred and Maria Jose made our stay super welcoming and warm.

The accommodation was immaculate, very quaint and right in the heart of Polop. The hostess was extremely friendly and spoke good English.

Check in time was said to be between 13:00-22:00, but when we arrived at 14:00 the room wasn't ready for us. We had to wait till 15:00. This wasn't a problem for us because we didn't have a strict schedule but something to be aware of.

The staff were so obliging and friendly. The room was very clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The cafeteria was reasonably priced and good quality. Would definitely use again.

Nothing to dislike

It was clean and the staff where very helpful,needed to escape the busy village I live in, and there I escaped into a very welcoming Hostal León, restaurant good, clean rooms
