The property was amazing!! We really enjoyed the vintage decor and how homey the atmosphere was. Breakfast was phenomenal with many different sweet and savory options including fruit and juices. Matteo made coffee and eggs to order each morning which was an added bonus. All the food/ingredients were tasty and you could tell they were fresh. Our last night at the hotel we opted to stay in for dinner and eat the prepared menu. We were blown away by the depth of flavor and speed in which the dishes were prepared. Matteo’s daughter was a huge help to us while we stayed there as well. She was very friendly when we checked in and provided us with a late night dinner recommendation as well as bus pass information and things to do in the area. She took care of us during dinner and was very kind and attentive. We have been traveling for 2 weeks now and this stay ranks among the best of our whole trip! Anything we needed, they could provide us with! Printed documents for parking at our next excursion, a complimentary wooden wine stopper, help explaining the bus system, and checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and having fun in the area. The hotel was in a convenient location in St. Christina-about a 15 mins walk to the bus stop that could take you to the other villages like Ortisei. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. They gave me a very early check in as the room had been ready and gave me a free bus pass I could use for my stay. I was made to feel very comfortable. The room Itself has an old charm to it and was very clean which made the experience extremely cosy and comforting. There is a really nice view facing the mountains if you get a room with a view. They also have free parking slots right in front of the hotel. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the Val Gardena area.

Amazing stay - can not recommend highly enough! While not the newest or most modern property, Villa Martha has a lovely quaint charm. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable, and our balcony had a great view of Sassolungo. Matteo works so hard and is the most helpful, gracious host. His drinks (negroni) were terrific, breakfast outstanding (best we had in Italy), and his dinner was also incredible (only 6x spots available per night). His daughter Annalena was also great and her baking was excellent! We will definitely come back in the future :)

The property was in the perfect location which was a really cute beautiful town. It was a very easy walk to col raiser cable car which allowed us to hike to seceda in a loop that was less busy and gorgeous compared to starting in Ortisei. It was also very easy to bus to Ortisei and the adjacent towns so the location was very accessible. The hotel is lovely, the room was really spacious with a gorgeous view and very comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and the staff were so lovely.

Mateo was an incredible host. The breakfast was homemade and plentiful with eggs (any way you like) and delicious coffees. The bar had a great vibe with a record player, candles, and handmade cocktails. The best White Russian ever….and fine snacks to go with the drinks. Mateo was very helpful and made us feel at home. The ski bus is literally outside the front door and you can ski back to the hotel. Super convenient. The decor throughout the hotel is unique, to include huge stain glass windows. Mateo’s grandfather sculpted several of the large wooden pieces throughout the hotel as well. Restaurants and shops are walkable. Highly recommend!

This is a cozy, family-run bed & breakfast in a spectacular location. The rooms have views of Sassolungo and surrounding peaks. Matteo is an exceptional host, giving us many tips for hiking, touring and dining during our 5-night stay. Every morning, he served up delicious and plentiful breakfasts with a wide array of choices to meet every palate and to energize yourself for a full day of hiking in the Dolomites. We had parking directly across from the hotel. We highly recommend Villa Martha if you enjoy cozy, friendly and family-owned accommodations.

We really enjoyed everything!

Host (Martell I think) was an excellent host and very accommodating. He (or his kitchen) makes the best scrambled eggs and he was incredibly personable during check in, breakfast and check out. An absolute gem that I cannot praise enough. The accommodation itself was warm and very comfortable. The decor is fantastically furnished in a vintage style as the name suggests with incredible decorations and fine artistic pieces everywhere. Truly a feast for the eyes and soul for those looking for a slice of history in the middle of the beautiful and scenic Dolomites. I would definitely come back and stay again the next time I am in the Dolomites.

Absolutely nothing. I only didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay longer and didnt have a spare evening to enjoy some of the spirits at the bar!

I am usually critical and demanding, but this private little hotel was an absolute pleasure and experience. Amazing place with its boutique style, attention to decoration, and details in every square inch of surface, wall, and object! A pleasure to see all that and learn more about the place that has been in the private hands of the second ownership generation, for almost 50 years. The owner, Matteo, welcomes you like you would do with a family member. Rooms are comfortable, equipped with good quality objects, and functional to the smallest details. The beds are broad and comfy. It is quiet. Breakfast is fenomenal. Variety of breads, fruits, juices. Excellent coffee and, most of all, the owner prepares himself egg omlet to your liking which is the best one I have ever had. On the outside, you can relax on the swing chair or at the coffee with a shimmering sound of a stream. Internet coverage and speed were excellent.

Everything! This amazing little gem is like stepping back in history. Everywhere you look is something nostalgic and beautiful. Incredible collection of art and music. Beautiful wood carving and Art everywhere you look. Rooms have so much attention to detail right down to the bathtub spout or iron towel or coat hooks. Someone put an awful lot of thought and heart into this beautiful getaway spot. The food was out of this world! The fresh fruit and all of the baked deliciousness! The cheeses, speck, the organic yogurt, all of it was so beyond our expectations. The host is incredibly kind and helpful. Hope to go back again someday!

I can't think of a single thing! I would love to have spent less money for our time there but this place was definitely worth a Splurge!
