Excellent, varied breakfast. Most of the personnel, especially the German-speaking lady at breakfast. Spacious, modern room. Best part of Sella Ronda.

The old dude (I suppose the owner) smokes inside the building, talks loudly on the speaker of his phone.

La Tambra was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so welcoming and answered all of our questions on arrival. The rooms were very clean and breakfasts were wonderful including homemade cakes (even two gluten free options.) The restaurant downstairs has a great menu and is very good. We ended up using the local bus instead of renting a car to visit the Dolomites. The bus stop was close by and the bus came often enough to get us to Ortisei when we wanted to get there. The second day we rented e-bikes from the shop right across the street to scoot around Santa Cristina which was a lot of fun.

Downstairs, there's a great steakhouse, and a supermarket and bus stop are less than a three-minute walk away. Getting around Val Gardena by bus is very convenient. The room is simple and comfortable, and it even has a small kitchenette, which is perfect for preparing simple meals. The best part is the view of Sassolungo right from the balcony. The breakfast was excellent!

The washing machine is in the basement and is shared by all guests. If you need to do laundry, you'll have to try your luck as it's not always available.

We (my wife and 6 month baby) stayed here 7 nights. Our stay was fantastic! We were greeted by Arianna who gave us a lot of information and helped us throughout the week. They gave us bus tickets and Ortisei's swimming centre tickets for the whole stay. These were a great perk as the buses to Ortisei are frequent and help reduce parking fees and traffic. The swimming centre is nice and open until late. It has also a dedicated baby pool. The view from the room is amazing and the best we ever had in any hotel! You look directly at Sassolungo, which is spectacular! The room was spacious and they provided us with a baby cot for free. The bathroom is very nice and the shower is gigantic. They have a dedicated parking lot, which is very convenient. Thanks to the bus ticket, we used the car sporadically. The hotel is close to a grocery shop, the bus stop and the road or cable car to Monte Pana. Cable car to Col Raiser is 5 minutes by car, or you can walk. The San Giacomo trail and the Trenino Trail start close by. The place is run by a family and we found it very charming. They actually own a few places in the area, including the restaurant at the top of Seceda. Arianna was fantastic and definitely contributed to make this experience outstanding. We were very sad to leave and we will definitely try to come back in the near future.

A modern hotel with a very comfortable stay. We had the apartment which could easily sleep seven people. The small but well equipped kitchen is perfect if you want to stay inside after a long day. There is also a seating area with a TV. Restaurant underneath the hotel offers a variety of options and very good food. Breakfast was delicious as well. There are two common washing machines and a tumble drier. The hotel is close to a supermarket as well. Parking is free, just across the road. On Tuesdays the road in front of the hotel is closed from 6:30pm until 11pm due to the Farmers' market. Although we were stuck in because we couldn't use the car, the market proved to be a very enjoyable experience where the community meets together and sells food and other products from the mountains. There's music playing, the shops in the street stay open until late and it's an opportunity to mingle with the locals. Most of all the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It felt like home away from home. The cleanliness is exceptional.

We stayed 5 nights in a mountain view studio with kitchen. The studio was large with a sectional couch, large comfortable bed and plenty of space to move around. There was a nice eating table that passed through to the kitchen area. The kitchen was the only small thing about the studio with a tiny sink, two burner cooktop and small refrigerator. It was equipped with everything you need for simple meals. The bathroom had unique doors to the shower to make the small bathroom "footprint" very useable. One of the nicer bathrooms on our trip of two months. The room was very quiet when we shut the windows even though we were over their very busy restaurant. The entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was beyond our expectations for an included meal. They had every kind of fruit available, breads, regular & sweet, meats, eggs, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereals, I could go on and on. The breakfast was great. The washer/dryer that is mentioned in the apartment's facilities, was actually a shared setup in the basement. There are 2 washers & 1 dryer so you sometimes have to juggle access with other people. But, they are free to use and there are also drying racks for your room. Included in the apartment were bus passes for the duration of our stay and a pass, again for the duration of our stay, to a wonderful swim facility in the next village. The location was perfect for exploring the area. They have free parking right across the street. They do have some construction work going on behind the parking area but there was still plenty of space for the cars. The internet was okay, not always the best connection. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend B&B La Tambra to friends & family.

The only thing I could recommend is some instructions with the Washer/Dryer setups. A note about emptying the water from the dryer and how to open washer doors. Thank goodness for manuals on the internet.

Great location 3 mins walk from the Monte Panna chairlift and 10 mins walk max to the larger gondola and ski train in town. Good and free parking directly opposite the property. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Both the steak and pizza restaurants in the building were also excellent. Staff generally very good and welcoming. Large ski storage area with plenty of space and heated boot storage. The Val Gardena ski area was nice but by purchasing the Dolomiti Superski pass this opens up a huge ski area covering many different resorts.

No negatives to the accommodation but the only downside was Santa Cristina as a town is fairly quiet so if you are looking for a lively party type town after the Après Ski bar dies down there is not much else.

The location was good, very closd to all atractions, yet in a quiet area. The staff are amazing people and they helped us with advice what to do in the area. They were very patient with our kids and our needs. The room was more like an apartment with an upstairs for the kids, a kitchen with everything we needed and even a balcony and a closed area for the masterbed. And two bathrooms!

Excellent location and service . Balcony had an amazing view of the mountains. Room and kitchen had everything one could need. Staff were super friendly and it was very useful having access to a washer and dryer during the stay (and drying rack on the balcony to hang clothes). Would definitely recommend having the breakfast - it was an amazing spread of food and pastries!

The breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of options. Parking was available right in front of the property. The room was large, spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated — a really comfortable stay! We would happily come back here anytime.
