What a beautiful place to stay, infact it looked better then the photos, it was beautifully decorated and had alot of charm. When I arrived the host was kind enough to offer me an upgraded room with a private bathroom! I wish I had more time to enjoy the place as I only had a night here, I honestly could have stayed in my room for a while day because it was so beautiful! Highly recommend ♥️

The wifi wasn't great in the room but it wasn't a problem for me .

The people workong here are simply amazing, very available to answer any question, to serve yoi with tasty domestic food, and their kindness is undescribable. The patio is decorated in traditional and creative Mexican style and is a really pleasant for chilling, eating, having a coffee. The area is full of greenery and colorful houses, very vivid yet peaceful. There are two cutest and playful dogs in the yard. Most of the landmarks of Coyoacan are on a walking distance. It is also a good place for connecting with other travellers. It is not a fancy place and not for spoiled tourists, but a place for those who appreciate modest staying with the value of a real human connection.

The owner and her family were extremely helpful to us and were willing to provide anything we asked. They organised our Uber transport to the airport and gave us everything we needed to make our meals. Excellent location and the first guaranteed hot water showers we have had during our month long trip!

I loved the design of the property and its location. The rooms are comfortable and the water is hot. The staff are very accomodating and I was relieved that they organised transport for me when I arrived in Mexico City at midnight. The property is secure and the rooftop is lovely for yoga and with a view to Mexico City.

The only problem I had was with sometimes needing to ask for a cup or spoon for the coffee making facilities.

The host and staff are very friendly. The neighborhood is super walkable with beautiful homes and many places to eat and grab coffee.

Not super relevant, but you need a reservation to visit Frida's house. I was not aware of that so missed the opportunity,

Due to internal spiral staircases some rooms may be difficult to reach for people with mobility issues.

I spent one week in the Hotel! We had a lovely time there. We received exceptional service! We got a room upgrade from the host! The Hotel is within walking distance of Frida Khalo and Coyoacan. Highly recommended

Location and food options

The staff (Irene) was absolutely friendly and willing to solve all the needs we could have. They also have a very useful electronic system of access to the house considering they don't have a proper front desk.
