Staff was very accommodating when I got stranded due to an earthquake in a neighbouring town. They really helped me out. Thank you very much.

The spa was amazing. Staff was friendly. So close to train station and bike rental and convenient store. I lived the complimentary breakfast!

The hotel is right next to the train station - Super convenient. There’s an amazing restaurant right up the street called Restaurant Tiffany (go try it!) walk another street and there is an amazing pastry shop! The hotel was clean and spacious enough. We were able to set up a pack and play and sill access the bathroom! Mt. Hachiman was a 30 min walk. (One way) Take a cab it’s ¥700.

The staff was nice but they didn’t offer myself or my husband the codes to the onsen/spa facilities. I went to check it out and needed a code for the ladies’ facility. (Maybe closed because of Covid - it didn’t say and I didn’t ask)

I lived in a town nearby for two years and always wondered about this hotel. Finally Is as able to try it out. Though the outside looks a little too practical, the inside feels pleasant and cozy. Check in was quick and efficient (I arrived early and they offered to hold my luggage until my room was available), and I was heading up to my room in about 8 minutes. The room was pretty standard for the price, with a raised floor bathroom and bidet toilet. Definitely can’t complain there.

The one thing that was worrisome was missing staff when I first arrived. I waited nearly 15 minutes in the front lobby, not aware that I had to call into the back to get someone. I think customers don’t want to feel like they need to intrude on someone’s business, so I hesitated to call and decided to get some food and come back in an hour or so when they have someone available. Also, the staff never mentioned the public bath available, which I found out when I saw the sign pointing it out. I understand that it might be explained at the reservation time, but for busy travelers that can be easy to forget, and had I not seen the sign I might have missed out on the glorious bathing opportunity.

Checked out at 10:40am and was treated by the person at the front desk very rudely, saying that check out time was 10am and repeated it several times in a most unfriendly way. Never been treated so poorly by hotel staff in Japan this way! In contrast, the other front desk staff during check-in was courteous, so very mixed service. Hotel facilities are average to poor as well and definitely not good value for money as it is on the high end for a simple business hotel of this kind. Much better to stay at the Dormy Inn, for example.
