Everything was alright till the lady that runs the breakfast detail was complaining about Styrofoam plates she kept saying over and over that people were being disrespectul cause she ran out of plates,well get some we pay for it, she wss incompetent,disrespectful, un professional, happened May-Sunday 25th,2025 8:45 am a big white lady,I've never seen that before, not at pretty good place like Holiday Inn/express or any other hotel for that matter,how much are disposable foam plates???other than that the stay was awesome 👌

Location was great. The local beach was wonderful for the kids and was in walking distance (we took the car due to the very hot temperatures though). Breakfast was a typical American style but variety was ok. The pancake maker was a win for the kids.

All as expected or better. Room service had to be asked for which we missed at check-in. They had told us though. So our own fault.

Had to move rooms twice. First room, linens had dirt in the sheets. Floor in bathroom was dirty. Sink was not draining adequately. Second room, A/C did not work. Third room, no issues.

The beds are super comfortable. The location was great. Everything was very clean. The rooms were a great size for 4. The air worked great! The room was very nice and comfy. 2 tvs and a small living space. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

The breakfast was just eh. The cheese omelets are good and bacon. We never saw cinnamon rolls, French toast like the website said. The pancake machine takes a long time to make a pancake. Maybe waffle makers would be better. The worst part was the juices. It was like they watered them down big time. There is still a good selection of foods. We went during spring break so it was busy at breakfast. Go early bc by 9 everything was running out.

The location was good for to the Whooping Crane birding activities that were in Lamar and Rockport. The bed was decent, but comfort would have been better if there were extra pillows in the room. We liked that the room had a safe in it.

The lack of plants in the planters and general lack of grounds maintenance made the place depressing. Just a plant or two in the large pots would have made a difference. Additionally, smokers have been throwing their cigarettes on the ground (which they shouldn't do), but when there are not any receptacles, the smokers will continue to throw their spent cigarettes on the ground. The sofa in the room that we stayed in had a quarter size make-up looking stain. We notified the front desk as soon as we saw it. We didn't ask for a different room because we had been told that we got the last one. Parking was a bit tight, and some were parking in handicap parking that didn't have handicap hang tags.

We loved the view . We also loved how friendly the staff was as well as the location .

Just that parking was very limited as it was Memorial Day weekend it’s completely understandable , being a IHG member we were able to park in the reserved parking

I had never seen or heard of a pancake machine. The machine put out 2 pancakes in 1 minute. There was a good assortment of muffins, bagels , with different ways that the eggs were cooked, there was 3 brands of ceral . There was many other things and the employee taking care of the breakfast was helpful and friendly. The area was kept clean.

It was no fault of the Hotel, but the city of rockport lost wifi and the local area lost cable.

Location, staff

Ceiling showed water damage, smelled moldy, dried food in carpet along edge of bed frame. Also pending credit card charge is a lot more than what was advertised. Hopefully a deposit will be returned

I loved the breakfast. Clean and spacious room we were given and especially the convenience of everything around us at this location

very clean, friendly helpful staff. I love that they had large bottles of hand soap? body wash, shampoo & conditioner. we normally pack these item however we were in a hurry to make it to check in and I forgot my bag. these was an incredibly convenient for us. we always love to stay with Holiday Inn

there was only one washer and dryer but aside from that we ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR STAY!
