Out of all our stays in Korea, we liked the Grim hotel the most. The character, charm and warm hospitality, including prompt response, and importantly the ability to communicate in English will ensure another visit. It isn’t your normal commercial accomodation. When we checked in the host and entrance area contained unique items and books giving it that warm welcome feeling. The location is central shops and restaurants all within walking distance. A good sleep was assured given the comfortable bed, clean linen and sparkling clean room. This is a well recommended stop over if travelling to the very south of South Korea. I

The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was quite confortable. Location is kind of close enough to main destinations but you need to take a public transportation to get to.

There was a bit of draft coming in from the window so it was quite cold (Owner provided little heater), and the bathroom is an old style so quite cold as well. The neighborhood is little dull and it seems a bit rather dead..

The guesthouse has quite a good location - the main railway station is near as is the "centre" of the old part of the city, so many of the main attractions are easily reachable. The host is also very nice and helpful. It's also nice that breakfast is available and for a guesthouse located in Korea, this has one of the better breakfasts in case of variety.

The room size was really small for two people, smaller than I had expected. There is barely enough space to open luggages in the room. There is also no elevator so keep in mind that you have to carry your luggages up. Also no fridge in the room which would be good to have if you have to wake up early and get your own breakfast beforehand (the breakfast arranged by the guesthouse is only from 8:30 to 9:30).

A very cozy guesthouse that makes you feel at home and the owner is extremely kind and helpful. The room is a nice size and bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom was a spacious as well. Provided breakfast was perfect, giving bread, cereal and fruit options along with a coffee machine. It is a short taxi ride from the train stations and easy walking distance to the waterfront.

- Only minor thing was that some of the other guests were quite noisy, and spent quite a bit of time chatting in the hallway outside my room in the evening. Not the host’s fault, and wasn’t a massive issue, but wasn’t the quietest place I’ve stayed.

Compact but comfortable room was fine for a few nights. Simple, modern decor. Beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding. Bathroom was a decent size with a good shower. Convenient bus stop nearby. Short walk to the harbour. Light breakfast provided with cereal, toast, cheese, meat and fruit with coffee and juice; better here than similar guesthouses we've been too. Friendly owner.

The shower would be improved with a curtain or enclosure and large towels would be better. The room was cosy, but really needed more hooks and shelves.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He came to meet us halfway because we got lost... We received the largest room with two beds. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Although the room was on the first floor, the stay was very quiet because everyone respected the 11:00 p.m. silent curfew. Amazing! Breakfast was simple: two different types of cereal, bread for toast, ham, cheese, jam, fruits, milk and orange juice. We had to rush out of the place for the Azalea Flower Festival, but the stay was very pleasant. The room was much warmer than expected, but thank goodness for the AC unit to be plugged in and working!

Every so often, you'll hear a noise like a diffuser or something. It's not every time, but when the sound goes off, it's noticeable. It wasn't a big deal, but just a heads up for people staying in this room!

A well-located guesthouse with comfortable beds and a friendly owner. We appreciated the breakfast and the common area, including a fridge. Communication with the host was excellent.

Our room and bathroom were large and very cleaned. We did not turn on the air conditioner but had our window opened slightly to let the cooling breeze into the room. The bedroom and bed were large and very cleaned. Good variety of breakfast: toast, cheese, ham, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, butter, jam, cereal, freshly cut apple, orange juice and good coffee. Parking was free and within short distance from Grim Garden. The host was very friendly.

Loved it! Such beautiful guesthouse, good size room with floor heating! The beds was big as well. Bathroom was surprisingly big with a wonderful shower. It was clean everywhere and they changed your sheets every third day. Close to corner shops and a short walk from the shopping area. Bus stop just a minute away. Love the rooftop garden, wish I had been here during the summer. I could truly relax and take it easy here, thank you!!

Unfortunately disposables was used during breakfast. Not environmental friendly or that cosy.
