I have booked a single room. The room is very clean so as the bed sheet and towel. The air conditioner, Wi-Fi and shower is good. There are enough bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. The facilities and utensils in the big shared canteen is extreme good and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. You can go everywhere by taxi. The cost is cheap. There are some restaurants and especially a 24 hours Korea soup rice restaurant nearby. There is convenience shop at opposite. There is a bar which is owned by the hotel at opposite too. You can find the staff in the bar if there is no staff in the reception. I like this hotel and will be back next time. Thank you for the warm feeling during my stay!

I was really impressed with the hostel. It was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. The kitchen was big and perfect for doing my work (I work online as a teacher). There was also a nice café/lounge area and a pub right across the street. The lady who checked me in was super nice and friendly — a really cute and charming grandmother type. There were also some grandpas around who were just as warm and welcoming. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm and got first pick since I arrived early. The bed was super comfy, and I felt good sleeping there knowing it was clean (unlike other hostels I’ve been to). The curtain added a nice bit of privacy too. They also had a luggage storage room and a gaming/PC room — awesome facilities overall.

I think making the bathrooms a bit cleaner and providing toilet paper for the common bathroom on the 1st floor (there werent any when i used it) would make it much better. Also including some kind of breakfast would be really great

Everything! Our room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and lots of counter space for clothes and other stuff. The kitchen was quite well-stocked with plenty of bowls and plates and there were free condiments too. Our towels and water bottles were replenished every day, and there are several water purifiers throughout the property as well. The adorable cat was a plus - miss it already! Location wise it was convenient - just 10 minutes from the train station, the bus terminal, and the port. The place is very well looked after and we would be happy to recommend it to our friends.

Just as a suggestion but it would be great to have a few hangers in the room.

Reception was at the bar across the street so enjoyed food and good draft beer there as well as efficient check in. Room was cozy with underfloor heating and for a North American who sleeps on the floor it was perfect but book a bed if you need something soft. Easy bus ride from airport. Kitchen is large and clean. I could easily imagine fun dinners here in busier times. Definitely would be fun for a group. I would stay again.

I think the cleaning in the bathroom in my room was overlooked. Common areas however were spotless.

The beds in my dorm room were nice but I also did get lucky and got the one with the most privacy (not all could be 100% curtained off) Overall my stay was incredibly pleasant - slept well and liked the bathroom facilities

I couldn’t find any lockers which is my main complaint (and concern if you have valuables) They ask you to vacate the room between 11 and 16 for cleaning but when it’s all day raining that sucks - I get they need to clean but why can’t I be in the bed while this is done or just leave while the room is being cleaned instead of having to be gone for hours on end)

The room and the shared kitchen are were very clean. The windows closed tightly so it was quiet in the room and I could barely hear noise from the street outside. The bathroom was Korean style, with shower and toilet in the same room without separation, even though there would be enough space for a shower curtain. However, since the bathroom was spacious, the toilet didn't really get wet while showering, only the floor did. Check-in was easily done in English. Water purifiers with cold and hot water were available on floors 1, 3 and 5.

In the evening, it got quite warm in the room, even though I've tried to downregulate the temperature. I think the leashed cat was feeling bored because it couldn't move around freely. It always came towards me to get some cuddles, when I entered the building. There were two turtles as well, that could barely swim in their tiny glass tank.

Spacious, recently renovated and beautifully decorated room. Great facilities such as the kitchen and laundry machine. Lovely common area with board games provided. Friendly staff. Great location - on a quiet street with good restaurants, stores and public transportation options in the vicinity. Very good overall value. Thank you very much for your hospitality - I felt very comfortable and wish I could have stayed longer!

The wifi credentials provided on the sticker in the room should be updated to match the in-room wifi password.

Yeosu itself was a wonderful city, and my stay at Backpackers was exactly what I needed. I was alone for the trip, but it had quite a few spaces for meeting new people and reading and drinking. I read in the front room (with the plants) and the owner's friendly cat stayed by my side the entire time I was there. The owner let me drop off my bag before check in and let me leave it there after check out until my train left. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The price was very good. I was satisfied with the excellent service at an affordable price. It was great that there was space to store my luggage and an elevator was available, considering I had a lot of baggage. The cleanliness was satisfactory, and particularly, the water pressure and temperature in the shower area were appropriate, which I appreciated.

The staff seemed to try to provide friendly service, but personally, I felt it was somewhat rude (and somewhat discriminatory). Additionally, the internet connection was poor, and I had to move around several times trying to use my laptop, but there was no convenient place to work from anywhere. Those who need to use a laptop frequently for business purposes should consider this carefully.

The location of the accommodation was very convenient with local shops nearby. Lovely view of the neighbourhood from our room with direct sunshine in the morning. It was a bit bumpy road to the inn during our stay as it was under repair. It would be great if we could check in earlier as the check-in time was a bit late. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.
