Good location near multiple restaurants and metro. Excellent value for the money

Room didn’t have toiletries when I checked in, had to request them. Also hot water was not working. They tried to fix but they couldn’t.

Exceptionally large room, was able to build a nice work space including the TV as a second monitor. Shower was spacious, too, and the vanity had plenty of space for toiletries. Lots of food options nearby, and a metro Linea 1 station was a block away.

Microwave was sufficient to wear up items, but no hot plate to do any true cooking. Wifi was a lot better than during my first visit, but still was quite weak.

Great location, good value, the pool looked nice but I didn't actually go in. Compared to other hotels in the area this is a very good value. Updated comfortable bathroom. TV connected to internet for Netflix. There is a 24/7 mini market next door with everything you could need, and a huge gym right across the street if you want to work out. The Via Argentina/Cangrejo neighborhood is beautiful to walk around. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It is a cheap Uber or a long walk to the old historic center.

Furniture is dated, a bit stained, but overall the room was nice. The hallways were very echoey so you would hear everything when people were walking/talking in the hall.

I stayed in Hotel Principe twice. The first time I had a room at the front which was noisy. The second time I had a room at the back and it was much quieter. Both rooms were large with a comfy bed and pillows, bedside lighting, a safe and a spacious bathroom with hot water. They don't have a restaurant but have an arrangement with the shop/cafe next door for breakfast. I had my breakfast in a cafe round the corner. It's a good location as Via Argentina metro stop is a short walk and the metro will take you to the airport or Albrook bus terminal and mall. I also walked to the seafront where all the skyscraper hotels are.

A couple of female receptionists were not very helpful or friendly.

The location is just perfect. A lot of bars, restaurants and supermarkets around it. The hotel also has free private parking, which was great since I had rented a car. The standard room was very spacious, felt like a studio. The AC worked perfect! And the bed was one of the most comfortable I have been during my time traveling in the country. Everything was very clean. The sushi restaurant downstairs served really good sushi and also do room delivery. Hotel staff overall was welcoming.

Minor thing - the hotel is very good and I was surprised to learn they didn't offer breakfast. As in - they didn't have a physical room for breakfast. It is a minor thing cause ultimately next door is a place that offers good and rich breakfast options.

Room is clean and ample. Location is ideal for both business or leisure travel as it is located central to the business district and the historical area of Via Argentina with its tree-lined streets, parks, cafes, and restaurants. This hotel is located in a modern urban area where many young professionals living in Panama City reside.

The pool is tiny. Pets are not allowed. The restaurant is a sushi chain restaurant with overpriced, not good quality, cuisine. Breakfast is not included.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is great and the sushi restaurant next door is a bonus! They also have a taxi service in the lobby of the hotel which is super convenient for long distances.

This was our second hotel in Panama City and it was far superior to the first and for about the same money. Great location near restaurants, shops, the metro etc. No breakfast included but a very useful 24 shop right next door where you could get coffee and a croissant in the morning. The room and bathroom were very spacious. AC and wifi worked great.

The position of the ac unit meant it was blowing directly on my face when I was in bed....I slept the other way around to get overcome this. The price of doing laundry was extortionate!

I booked a superior junior suite and the rooms were huge and look exactly like the website photos. The bedroom had a super king bed and double wardrobe loads of space for my things and to keep the suitcases out if the way, bathroom had a bath and walk in shower with a massive vanity unit and the living area had a dining table, sofa bed fridge and microwave. Each room had air conditioning and smart TV’s which support Airplay - brilliant. The rooms were clean and staff came everyday and asked if i wanted my room cleaning. The location is excellent there are loads of shops and restaurants close by and some will deliver to your room but i would say take a 5 minute walk and explore the mass of local food nearby. Bonus is all the local tour operates will pick up and drop off from this hotel.

No kettle or tea/coffee making facility. The pool is very small only really good if you want to dip in and cool down and not swim. Not the hotels fault but the 24hrs place next door, that the hotel recommends will deliver to your room, refused to deliver both times i called and were pretty rude about it.

Price is very affordable, room was big. Location is good, in the new part of the city, close to some restaurants and shops and to subway station. I was considering changing my booking to a hotel in the old part of the town but I kept this reservation because I read excellent reviews of the Japanese restaurant that is located under the hotel so I kept only because of it. Restaurant is indeed awesome, we loved it. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. Of course you can visit the restaurant if you are not staying at the hotel but staying at the hotel makes things easier.

Hotel felt a bit old and didn´t have breakfast. Also, regarding location, I think next time I would book one in old town because I loved it so much and it is easier to walk around.
