This was an incredible experience from start to finish! The entire staff was attentive to our needs—always available, kind, understanding, and truly accommodating. Number One Oxford Street Hotel & Suites provided an exceptional stay in the heart of Accra. The breakfast was a standout—fresh, diverse, and expertly prepared, offering everything from local Ghanaian dishes to continental favorites. It truly set the tone for a productive day. The staff were the highlight of the experience: consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Whether assisting with directions or accommodating special requests, their hospitality felt genuine and elevated the entire stay. Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be better situated. Centrally located near Oxford Street’s vibrant shops, restaurants, and cultural spots, it was a breeze to explore the city. Ubers were affordable (rides rarely exceeded a few dollars) and readily available—a significant plus for hassle-free commuting. This hotel is a must-book for travelers seeking convenience, comfort, and top-tier service in Accra. It is highly recommended for both business and leisure!

Despite arriving at 7:00 AM (after a direct overnight flight from JFK), the hotel charged 50% of the daily rate for early check-in. For a premium hotel, this fee felt excessive compared to competitors offering discounted rates or complimentary early access for available rooms. Suggestion: Offer tiered pricing (e.g., 25% fee for 6:00–10:00 AM arrivals) or allow guests to use amenities (pool, lounge) while waiting for rooms.

I travel a lot and have stayed at several hotels and aparthotels, Number One Oxford Street is easily one of the best. I stayed here for 1 week. The check-in was seamless. The front desk staff were VERY VERY professional and really welcoming and patient especially Jessica Joannides, Karina, Franca, and the gentleman. All staff were very helpful, and Bismark went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable. The hotel environment was very clean, room service was on point, breakfast (buffet) fresh with good options and friendly staff, and I loved the gym! My room was on the 4th floor, great view of the bustling Oxford Street. Elegant room, nice balcony. Location EXCELLENT; close to several eateries, banks, pubs, shopping places etc. I will like to use this opportunity to say A SPECIAL thank you to Believe for ensuring a super comfortable stay. He regularly checked up on me and ensured everything was in order and timely. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Staff

No shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Broken soap dish and dirt carbonates in the kitchen. There was also a dowel smell coming from the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom. Also a car was supposed to pick us up from the airport. I submitted all the information through booking.com and to the hotel. But no car picked us up. We had to catch a cab. Also tried to arrange the same free car to take my girlfriend to the airport later in the day of check. But just got the run around from staff. She had to just take a taxi.
