Very friendly service, the best service I've ever experienced from a whole team and that makes it amazing. Excellent restaurant as well.... but choices are limited on the menu. It was also very clean and a cosy atmosphere. We liked it a lot

Access to the spa only on reservation and need to be paid as a supplement. That's a pity. I like hotels where a sauna is included, sometimes to just get a quick sauna experience after an exhausting day being outside. So, I don't like to have this on a time schedule to be planned and within a timeframe. But I can imagine others don't mind, it's just for me what makes it to get only a 9 out of 10, instead of getting a 10

Loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the room was cute and very comfortable. The restaurant is also great, with plenty of fine dining options. And if you feel like something different, there's another restaurant 5 minutes away. We cycled along the dunes using the rental bikes. I'd recommend the electric ones if the wind is strong. They're powerful enough to ride comfortably through the insane Texel winds. We also borrowed binoculars from the front desk to check out the birds. Very nice. Would come back if we want to visit Texel again!

The room was very comfortable. Lots of space, clean and comfy bed. Particularly liked the pillow spray -- that was a nice touch. We didn't use the spa but the pool area was also nice. It was small but not too crowded. The breakfast spread was good. Nice range of savoury and sweet options. The restaurant decor was cozy - had a feel of being in a forest cabin which is nice. The cocktails were delicious and decently priced.

Would be nice to have some lounge chairs at the pool area. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. Our order took almost 45mins to arrive. It was already dark by the time our food arrived and we didn't get a light for our table (we had to take one from another table). The presentation of the food was good but our fish was a bit over cooked. For the caliber that the restaurant is going for, it should also provide some amuse bouche or at least some olives or bread while waiting to order. But overall, we were quite happy with the restaurant.

Excellent service from the moment we checked in and they walked us to our room. The food was amazing, local and fresh. Special thanks to Marjorien and Sita who made sure all our needs, and our sons wishes, were taken care of.

Getting there on public transportation was a bit of a hassle, so make sure you book the shuttle in advance and hope that your ferry or bus or train do not get delayed.

outstanding restaurant-level breakfast, good wellness area with sauna, modern, smaak bit cozy gym there you can also exercise outside. nice backyard with fruit trees and canals. very nice and comfortable room with modern tv and big windows. amazing bed, clean space. friendly staff and covered garage door bicycles

Take note that the bathroom door is designed in such a way that it doesn't close fully. If you're in a room with someone not family or spouse, it can be awkward using the bathroom/toilet. Also, there's a lot of open green areas, so flies can be a nuisance in the restaurant. It would be great if fly control (eg UV light with electrified mesh) could be implemented

Amazing service not only for locals but also for foreigners.. This is how the real hospitality should work at the hotels all over the world. Guys ,you work so hard to make everyone feel like at home by providing an excellent service. We’ve been in a lot of different hotels but for now only here we felt absolute serenity and exceptional service starting from the reception and ending the kitchen staff. Thank you everyone for your dedication and love to the people 🥰

Only 2 sugar sticks per day for 2 people. I felt lack of sugar but maybe Dutch just save their teeth :)))

the international breakfast, full of fresh, local and delicious products, the room service is also excellent. the large and clean room every day, small attentions such as the spray for the pillow, the map delivered together with the card, the truly excellent bathroom products make the stay an exceptional experience. beautiful structure with a wonderful restaurant that offers a refined cuisine with delicious dishes. The gardens around the structure and the special treatment with wool are really points in favor of this structure. Obviously praise also goes to all the staff, always friendly and super efficient.

unfortunately there is no kind of surveillance in the swimming pool and every day of our stay we saw minors arrive without parents and not only is this dangerous, but the relaxing atmosphere was totally overshadowed by screams, splashes and dives, however prohibited. in addition, it must be said that the swimming pool is not large and when you find 4 or more small children swimming with their parents everything becomes chaos, a tip is perhaps to dedicate a time slot only for families and one only for adults so to give to the latter an absolute relaxation

We had a lovely stay at this cozy hotel over Christmas. The festive vibe was just right and the special dinners they put together made the holiday feel extra special. The spa was amazing and super relaxing. Everything about the place was perfect for a quiet escape from the city. Would definitely recommend it!

The bed could be a little bigger as the room is really spacious. The portion sizes of the food are quite small. These are minor points though.
