First of all the hotel is splendid. The staff was extremely welcoming and paid a lot of attention to our specific needs. The bedroom is stunning and we liked a lot that they don't have standard hotel white bedsheets but beautiful cosy light colored ones, like at home. The hotel is very nicely designed and ultra modern. The bathroom had shower and bathtub. The breakfast was fresh and very diverse, they had fresh fruits and a variety of veggies, meat and cheeses. The coffee is as usual exceptional. They have the full service of a 5 stars hotel, including a welcoming drink and a rose for ladies.

The Staf was even better than the brand new facilities. The Spa just amazing.

Location with a beautiful view of Salò and Lake Garda. Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Nice pool area with plenty of lounge chairs on the property. Large SPA area with a separate indoor and outdoor pool. The whole property is arranged beautifully with plants and plenty of green space. Nice sitting areas around the bar and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is generous with plenty of options for everyone's taste.

The Driveway to the hotel is a little bit tricky because it is very steep and coming from Salò you can't access the Driveway without a sharp turn or going to the next roundabout. The same problem occurs when you try to leave the property and you want to drive in the direction of Desenzano. You need to drive first towards Salò and then make a U-turn to drive in the other direction. They should invest some extra money and improve the accessibility of the hotel from the main road.

Loved the hotel, the location, the whole green/flowers/nature concept. The room was great size and garden. Very kind staff.

The cleanliness, the rooms werent cleaned as well as they could have been. I love animals but there was a lot of very big dogs staying at the hotel, I think there could be defined rooms for pets not in all rooms. The food at the restaurant was great just the timetables are a bit unpractical especially for lunch. Great aperol but 12eur?? A bit too much i think.

The property was a beautiful well designed hotel with a luxury contemporary feeling to it. Being only a 30/40 minute walk from the hotel to Salo, through a lovely woodland then along the lakeside, it is a must at least once during the stay. The rooms were beautiful and the pool (especially the spa) was exceptional! With a mix of 5 different sauna/ steam room, showers, “ice” bath, ice scrubs, plenty of relaxation areas and of course the two pools it really was hard to beat. The staff where incredible! We used the concierge regularly during our day for ease of planning, including for taxis for further away, and they did amazing, so slick and precessional. I would highly recommend this hotel. We got engaged during our trip to garda and a-rosa really has made the trip unforgettable. Thank you for making our special trip even more special

Beautiful hotel with incredible decor and a real luxury feeling. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and welcoming! Having multiple pools was super useful, especially the indoor spa pool as we had a full day of rain when visiting. The location is perfect - short 45minute drive from Verona airport, right beside the beautiful town of Saló, and only 30-40minutes from popular towns such as Limone, Riva etc. We had a lovely breakfast each morning included in the price with lots of variety! The spa facilities were great. My husband used the sauna and gym daily and I had a lovely massage on our final day. We felt that the price was extremely reasonable for a 5 star hotel and for all that there was on offer! We would definitely stay again!

Our only minor complaint was that the pillows were a bit flat but I’m sure we could have asked for extra

I am not sure about the reason of some negative comments but I must confess that A-Rosa is a great hotel. Location is fantastic. The rooms overlooking Salo are exceptional. Had a room with a garden, I cannot explain how beautiful it is and how comfortable it is to go outside, stay under the sun or enjoy spectacular views. Nice, large rooms, extremely clean, fantastic, real fantastic garden. The hotel has been plotted into green from all sides. The spa is outstanding. The staff - friendly, professional. We have been welcomed from Marco on the reception and I felt 3 minitutes later like being friends for life. The breakfast has plenty of options.

Maybe the only problem I saw was the restaurant in the evening. It felt like canteen, so we did not try it at all.

An outstanding Hotel featured by large rooms with elegant and practical furnitures, a very accurate space distribution between pools, SPA, Gym club, Restaurant: every space and each detail seem very carefully designed to best fit its function. There are 5 different types of SPA with multiple combinations of temperature and humidity, two large indoor/outdoor hot water pools to enjoy the outdoor space even during winter, entering into the pool inside the hotel and moving while immersed in the water outside through sliding doors, a well featured Gym Club with plenty of devices (cyclettes, weight lifting, and other equipment although the classic tapis-roulant are missing...) and a wide relax area fit with sun-beds and comfortable sofas. an excellent Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere. The restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast, probably one of the richest and more complete I ever experienced either for salted foodand sweet food: fruit, vegetables, an incredible long-list of cheeses and salted meats, salmon, eggs (with omelettes prepared on demand by a cook), and prosecuting then with any type of bread, brioche or cake to fit any type of taste (a rich choice of sealed Gluten-Free breads, brioches and crackers is also available without need of asking it). At this Restaurant is also possible to have dinner which also consists in a wide buffet with appetizers and starters and then a complete three courses dinner eventually concluded by fruit and desserts from another buffet. The cost of the dinner is 45 €/person which is quite fair and convenient considering the level and the quantity of the proposed choice. Rooms are fabolous (I booked a normal room and the hotel did kindly upgrade our room to a Lake-view room that on top of the other features also offers a fantastic view on the Garda lake) and the bathroom is very large, fit with a bath-tub and a comfortable shower. Inside the room a large cupboard allows to easily store luggage and dresses.

There are a few points that - from my point of view - still need some "fine tuning": 1) The TV has almost only German channels (only 3 Italian Channels) although it's featured by a very easy-to-use mirroring system that allows to see on the 50" TV any streaming platform through the mobile phone or Ipad 2) The costs of the extras at the bar/Restaurant are really excessive: 7,00 € for a single bottle of water or 3,50 € for a Coffee at the bar seem really too high. 3) The Hotel provides just some cloth-made slippers, not suitable for the SPA: it could be opportune at least suggesting to the guests to bring their own Crocs or rubber slippers. 4) In my room the fridge was not cooling (but I left the water on the external terrace and the scope was however reached).

I loved it, my friend as well. The hotel has such an incredible vibe that pictures just dont do it justice. Rooms are amazing, breakfast was so so so nice with a lot of choice, the pool was perfect, walk to the lake is so nice trough the ''woods''. Definitely one of the best hotels ever.

The fee for the dog is just - A LOT. A have a 1,9kg, hypoallergenic dog - the hotel gave her a bed and a bowl, and charged 45 eur per night for her, and I really felt like its a bit crazy - this was the most expensive dog stay I ever had.

The food, be it mainly great was all buffet asa newly opened hotel and they didnt have sufficient kitchen staff for alla carte. Therefore, the food became a bit samy and at c 49 euros per head was a bit pricey for a buffet! Nice chefs though. Getting more pillows was an absolute chore!
