Closeness to all the major shops, easy access.. The breakfast was Devine,wide selection of choices the porridge each day as my favourite .. the front reception attention to detail is superb. The willingness to help is great. Martwain was so good to us.. best taxi driver wayne so accommodating and helpful.. The way the hotel catered for our needs by providing amenities as it was carnival to ensure smooth transition i think this needs to be commended . The room was lovely the view was not great but the ambience was appreciated , the bed was huge and we were a party of 4 and no issues at all.. Very Good Hotel

got some food from the hotel i think 25us for chicken and chips was a bit expensive but it was sooo good non the less ..

Courtleigh truly holds a special place in me and my family's hearts. This is my second stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say they're truly remarkable with customer service! Although I cannot say for the rest of Jamaica's customer service, e.g., the Norman Manley International Airport employees who work at Customs, and people who work in local restaurants, like Prendy's on the beach in Port Henderson, the Tastee's in New Kingston, etc. are just atrocious in their demeanour and speech... Long story short, whatever customer service training the Courtleigh Team has undergone, they need to get all the other customer service workers in Jamaica on board! Even though there was some confusion with our booking as we checked in, the lady at the reception assured that she would sort out the matter and even gave us a room upgrade after we waited quite long to fix the situation =') I also appreciated how Lascelles was so attentive to my needs! I was walking with some breakfast to bring back to my 91-year-old grandma and had both hands full. He noticed and, without even asking, and offered to help me with the elevator. Overall, my stay was great! I would want to come again, BUT, unfortunately, outside of Courtleigh, Jamaica's customer service is too ungodly for me, so I won't be visiting the country again! Does Courtleigh have hotels elsehwere? That would be great!

I loved EVERYTHING!!! Honestly, cannot complain. I would suggest though that they offer more variety of foods for breakfast. The meals are delicious, BUT the 4 chafing dishes used for the main breakfast meals aren't cutting it. These dishes could be extended to 6 or even 8. The Courtleigh hotel has literally been the only part of Jamaica I enjoyed. Sad for the country, but great for Courtleigh =D

I have stayed in this hotel during some business trips and I found it perfect. The facilities are well maintain: the gym is spacious and machines new, the guest laundry works well and is cheap, there are plenty of food options and ambients in the social area (restaurant, pool bar and sport bar). The breakfast is delicious. The room is vere comfortable with nice views. The suite is good option if you have to spend several days there. The staff was bery friendly and helpful. Is close to emancipation park whicb have beautiful gardens if you want to do a stroll I definitely will come back

Location was good. Breakfast was ok, but could have had more choice, also when items were finished (even at 8am) they were not replaced as they had run out! Dining room quite small which meant I had to share a table on at least 2 occasions. Rooms were nice and large, but felt quite dated. Gym was good but small. Didn't use the pool or pool bar but spoke to others who enjoyed these. Hotel could do with a refurb at some point. However, staff were quite helpful and attentive. Parking available, although on a Friday and Saturday evening the carpark was full!

Central location. The staff are clearly well-trained. Very old school courtesy and professional demeanor- I travel often for work, and hardly ever find this level of customer service anywhere in the U.S. Sincere warmth, formal greetings and follow-through for any and all requests that we made.

This is the second time staying at this property in the past two years. There was an issue with the lock on the room entrance door both times. The firtst stay, we ended up switching rooms right after check-in. This time, the lock plate in the door jamb was held in place by a single screw, so the plate swiveled frequently on the single screw upon entry or egress. I found myself adjusting the metal plate to get the door to lock.

The location was perfect with major banks, shopping centre, pharmacy, taxis, restaurants, the Knutsford Express depot and attractions all within easy walking distance/short taxi ride. The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites is a modern establishment that is classy yet approachable. We loved the 24hr gym with secure access, the outdoor pool area, breakfast, and the furniture throughout the property was both comfortable and tasteful. We sent photos back home and to several of our friends in the Caribbean as well as the US, recommending that they stay at the Courtleigh.

Honestly, we couldn't think of anything we didn't like enough to leave a comment here🙂

Internet on my floor was very slow, my laptop had issues connecting Breakfast buffet could have had more variety, Staff needed to be more attentive to keeping buffet area tidy, replacing plates and glasses quickly for guest, getting tables cleaned for guest. Main Staff at the door was absent all the time, so their was no guidance as to where to be seated. You just walk in. Despite this but overall wat was served was tasty.

I thought the breakfast was very good although I would suggest that the hotel provides more selections daily. I would have a full Jamaican Menu and also a full English breakfast menu daily apart from that the service was excellent. I would like to praise Cecile Reynolds who went above and beyond to help me with my reservation. I would like to thank her personally and to congratulate her for giving her staff all the up skills needed to run the reception desk. Also a special thank you to the receptionist that checked me in on the 31st December 2024, it is nice to see that we are valued when checking in for the 1st time. I enjoyed my stay so much that I made another booking for 5th January 2025. The property is newly refurbished and has all amenities needed whilst staying in a hotel. I have stayed in hotels within walking distance from the Courtleigh Hotel and I would rate the Courtleigh hotel 10/10

A true luxury hotel Where Old world charm and elegance meets neat sophistication The pool deck nice area was great place to sunbathe Beds and pillows very comfortable and balcony room spectacular -panorama of city lights at nights and daytime views soothing on eyes as far as south coast St Catherine to Kingston harbor. Mountain views was seen as a backdrop too. Check in was delivered with earnest efficiency and Front desk was very accommodating throughout my stay. Excellent staff ball men were very professional Breakfast was good selection of American- Jamaican dishes. A true Resort atmosphere in the heart of Kingston. You will not miss the beach here A Perfect oasis when you come for business in the Capital of Jamaica

The staff are excellent especially Joseph. The room was top quality. The restaurant is excellent. Breakfast could be improved upon as the selection was not great. There should be a good option for Jamaican breakfast eg akee and salt fish within the buffet and a section for custom made omelettes. This is the offer at Spanish Court. The only down side was the requirement to leave the credit card details at reception when checking in. This is unnecessary and tasteless.
