After traveling ten hours the bedroom was clean and relaxing and quiet. Everything met our expectations. I work while I travel and it had a great little set up for my computer. Our room was impeccable - so cheers to the cleaning staff!

The front desk clerks need to be trained in southern hospitality. After traveling ten hours I was expecting a friendly smile and a 'welcome to Hampton Inn', I got neither. Questions were kept to one or two words, and answers were the same. It felt very tense, and we were very happy to step away from the counter with our keys. Very unusual for a Hampton Inn and for a southern hotel. All that being said, the room was the hotel's redemption. I would return to this hotel, but if I were in the area again, I would check out other options first.

We like the indoor pool but it could definitely be bigger. The breakfast is great.

The size of the pool. The elevators really need to be fixed. They are really slow and kept sounding like they were going to stop working. The bathroom in our room was not the best. The showers should definitely be replaced. They were all cracked and stained. Our beds were also left dirty.

Needs more parking. Every room needs better lighting inside the rooms!!! As we get older, we need better overhead lighting! All hotels need improved lighting plans!!! We were not out of the room in the mornings until 10am or so. So housecleaning was not done for our room for those days. We had to request clean towels, etc. and trash bags as well each evening once we returned to hotel in the evening. We would absolutely return to this hotel, with a few minor tweeks!

If you are in the Fort Payne area for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn. With regards to breakfast, there were a variety of choices for everyone in my family. I loved the location of the hotel because it was adjacent to the exit I needed for home. In addition, it is always a pleasure of having the simply luxuries as a microwave, TV and refrigerator in the room.

Coffee kept running out.. maybe have 2 dark roast(extra)..since it seems to be most popular. Hotel was great, but the area around it seemed run down and sketchy.

They found us a room. They had no record of booking.com getting us a room.

Booking.com could have actually made the reservation. Asit was we were lucky they found us a room. The Hotel was very good and clean. They tried everything to search for the room Booking.com had reserved for us but could find nothing even though I had the email with BOOKINGS reservation number as confirmation.

Great location nice rooms

I booked a king and a queen room that was handicap accessible. The hotel stated booking.com said it was 2 standard queen rooms. Also has a hold for incidentals which was not mentioned before we arrived

Great breakfast. Good variety of food, also waffle makers! Great selection of tea and coffee. The staff is very polite and friendly, always ready to help you or answer any question you may have.

The breakfast only lasts till 9 AM. Not so friendly to nightowls like me. Also the parking space is somewhat limited, it could be hard to find an empty spot to park in the evening.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. My family and I were traveling for the holidays and just needed a room for the night. Our stay was great, and the breakfast was a nice bonus.

Toilet was not working, that was fixed pretty quickly. Breakfast was nothing to be happy about. By 8 am almost nothing of a real breakfast was to have.
