We loved our stay in Posada El Corcal de Liebana. The location is great and close to many hikes (we did one in Riano that we loved). The hotel is new and in excellent shape. Our Junior suite was spacious and had access to a small patio, it was great to relax there in the evening. The hotel was spotlessly clean and it is very well decorated. Having a coffee machine in the common area was convenient. The hotel has a restaurant and their food is excellent. Tama is a tiny place so being able to eat meals right at the hotel without driving to nearby bigger towns was a huge bonus and a real time-saver. Continental breakfast was amazing and so were dinners we had there. Food was flavorful and portions were generous. Staff was exceptional and very helpful. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely return every time we visit the area.

Loved the ambiance of this place. Right when you walk in it has relaxing music and calming spaces. Quiet as well. Its not central, but you can be in Potes in 5 min by taxi. Taxi was 10euro each way. Garage for the motorcycles.

No A/C in the rooms, but the fans in the rooms seemed to be enough. Also, the restaurant owned by the hotel was closed the day we stayed there. would have been good to know beforehand. When checking in the desk assistant didn't really give us much info about the restaurant or how to buy drinks. She could have been more informative about everything, and when breakfast was.

The Posada El Corcal de Liebana is delightful, family run B&B in a truly stunning location which is very quiet in spite of being fairly close to the road, indeed mornings are most notable for the cries and whistles of the local avian population. Purpose built as a B&B it fits the bill perfectly. The rooms are well proportioned and fitted out as one would expect. Some have small balconies affording delightful prospects especially of the snowy tops of the Picos de Europa. The breakfast was good and varied but could become a little hectic at peak times. No evening meal is served at El Corcal, but the local pub does meals and the family own a little restaurant on the main road. Our welcome could not have been more obliging, the staff very friendly, the rooms were spotless and lashings of hot water for the showers. The owners have made the garden available for residents to sit and drink-in both beverages and the view. Well done!!

The posada is a mite tricky to find! But, if you are in the village, the pedestrian crossing marks the spot, with the village bar on one end and the restaurant on the other you are there! The posada is off the main road, immediately behind the restaurant. Do not try to take your car down to the inn, there are plenty of car parking spaces on the main road.

Fantastic mountain views. When we arrived, our host provided us with access to tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were very friendly and made us most welcome.

Would have liked to know that the restaurant was shut on Sunday evening, when making the booking. We had a bad nights sleep, due to a dog constantly barking and howling nearby, this was no fault of the hotel.

The entire hotel was super clean and staff were all lovely. Fresh flowers on our balcony was much appreciated.Allowing us to store our motorbike in their garage was great.

The only disappointing aspect of our stay was the rather basic breakfast-long life milk and orange juice with bland bread and yoghurt from a supermarket was not what we expected .There was no breakfast menu at the table. Coffee was good even though it was from a self service machine.

Location, set back from main road to Potes. Spacious, clean. Luckily had option to park Motorcycles on patio or in property garage. Continental breakfast - good and plenty full ( strange to have cakes ) On Main road Property runs a Restaurant. Wow the food and service plus the cost of meal and drinks was EXCELLENT 👌. Gutted the Restaurant is closed on Tuesdays but notified on checking in.

Not a member of staff there all the time. Staff foreign language skills lacking as is our Foreign language ( Spanish ) skills too. Lack of parking near to property for cars and larger vehicles. No real bar facilities and very limited to Estrella beer, there is a vending machine for items and alcoholic beverages, but no idea how to use it 🤷🏻‍♂️.

The hotel looks great from the road and is really well furnished inside. There was a good seating area outside with views of the mountains. We had a side room with views of the mountains and a small balcony we could sit on and admire the view. The room was well furnished with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was very good, a wide selection available and well presented. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant on the main road which also belongs to the hotel.

Only minor issue is that you have to park on the main road and pull / carry your cases down a small road to the hotel.

We, a family of five, stayed two nights during August 2024. We loved it. We were sorry to leave. - Generally speaking, the place is nice, clean, well managed - The breakfast is really great - The rooms are nice on the upper floors - Beds quality was very good. - Hotel managent was really kind and helpful to find the trails most suitable for us

- Our room on the ground level was not as great as in the upper floors - A detail - no doubt the management will fix this if they monitor their reviews : no toilet brush - No A/C

We had a 3 night stay in an apartment room which suited us well. Parking on the main road is very easy and the apartment had nice outside space as well as being spacious and comfortable inside. Potes is easy to access by car with lots of free parking on the way or a lovely walk up the valley - about 40 minutes. There is useful information about walks in the area in reception.

Fantastic, charming, beautiful, home-like hotel surrounded by endless beauty! The staff were incredible, the breakfast was spectacular, every part of the hotel is beautiful and well attended to. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we loved sitting in the lounge cafeteria area because of how beautiful and cozy the couches were and how perfect the lighting was. Even when it was raining, we sat under cover outside, drinking our coffee, enjoying the sounds of distant animals and nearby river. Truly a refuge that will feed your soul!
