Amazing location with a vibrant street food area, department stores with everything and adjacent to the Da Ming palace park. This hotel essentially has its own metro station with the train going directly into the city centre right next to the entrance. It’s also very close to the city centre being only two stops. Plus the fact that the whole city and the the main sights are accessible by the metro make having the metro right next door very convenient. Check in and out was very easy. The breakfast was excellent and the lounges very comfortable. The service was great all around.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast had a large variety and all allergies labelled so it was easy to choose. The steak house was excellent. Staff spoke English (or would get an English speaker) and were helpful. The location is good. Lots of shops nearby and Daming Palace is a lovely park to walk around (no actual palace there) or take a boat ride or hire a pedal trike/electric car. We left our luggage after we checked out with no problem and received a ticket to collect it when we were ready. Metro just a couple of mins away for easy trips to other locations. Room was spacious and very clean with bathtub and shower.

The listing stated that the hotel had a spa (the main reason we booked this hotel) but when we arrived we were told that the hotel did not have a spa. It is closed for refurbishment (Dec 2024) and had no date of opening. The pool was open but this is not what we wanted. The staff in the hotel said there was a spa close by that we could go to (as a recommendation, not affiliated with the hotel) but we opted to book a spa day at another hotel close by (for ease with language). Not as relaxing as we planned and it would have been helpful to know that the spa was not available before we booked.

1. Strategically located. It is close to the subway station (with escalator and elevator) and is more comfortable than staying in the crowed downtown which is now flooded with tourists. 2. The staff is nice; the breakfast is wonderful; the room is spacious. 3. You can walk (25 min) to visit the relics (mounds) of the ancient Tang palace (Da-Ming Khong) which is now a city park.

Breakfast had the most options I have ever seen! Rooms very comfortable, big bathroom, on the usual Sheraton level. Location is ok, with easy subway access, but on a very busy street.

Unfortunately really many people eating breakfast at the same time, it was really loud...

Spacious rooms, corridors. Very good breakfast if you like Chinese breakfast. Otherwise okay if you like to have Western type breakfast

Some corners of our bedroom were not clean. Several light bulbs in the bathroom needed to be changed. Some general maintenance required in bathroom(to old silicone,dirty corners.)

Food was excellent. Good location. Breakfast is spectacular and the best so far in China that I have had.

The only problems were Windows which were not completely soundproof, and you heard constant noise from the busy street.

The size of the room was quite good and was well appointed with nice toiletries. The shower size was decent also.

The room was a bit tired in places and was quite dusty. There was visible dust in quite a few places. Room service kept running out of items.

Very comfortable big spacious rooms. Metro right next door. Grand luxurious decor.

Not enough seats in the foyer? Particularly in the morning at the time most people are being picked up for tours, there were not enough seats for everyone waiting.

Location, facilities, friendliness and professionalism of staff

Swimming pool changing rooms didn’t have sufficient number of towels.

Staff engagement and environment was excellent with great breakfast.

Pool is too small and crowded to be of use to someone who likes to swim laps.
