The hotel was very comfortable and close to all the main attractions of the city. The staff is nice and welcoming. The breakfast at the hotel is good, so many different foods to choose, both Chinese and European. Our room was cozy and clean and the bathroom too, with a big shower. At the reception they also have cards with information on how to reach the main attractions of the city, including public transportation needed. The staff at the reception speaks good English and they are very helpful with all type of necessity one might have. The wifi works great for those who don’t have an internet connection. Overall great balance between quality and prices.

Location within walking distance to Bell and Drum tower attractions with a cool hostel community vibe and free laundry facilities! The room itself is simple with few amenities for a no frills experience and a small convenience store downstairs was super helpful. Breakfast was bountiful and variety was provided with different offerings every day, which is great when staying multiple days!

Staff were not as familiar with the city so could not offer much concierge service. Only one elevator for quite a large facility. A high demand for only one washer and dryer in the laundry room (which is open 24 hrs except for that one hour between 8:30-9:0 am for cleaning), left many of us fighting for use of the laundry machines as they were often occupied during normal hours and no staff were present to police the machines so sitting with the laundry was a must if you didn’t want your clothes touched or removed by other patrons.

Extremely helpful staff. Fanny at the reception took lot of trouble to book my tickets to the Shaanxi museum as well as ordering food. They don’t have a restaurant in the hotel (Good buffet breakfast is there) so dinner times I had to order from the app or go out. The app was all in Chinese so Fanny again helped to book food. She’s a very nice, attentive person. Even before I arrived also the staff helped a lot with questions I asked on booking .com messages. Mistakenly I booked 4 nights first but staff sent me a free cancellation link so I booked again with correct days without paying the penalty. Bell tower and drum towers are 3,4 minutes walking distance. Muslim street also with the drum tower area. I’d recommend to buy terracotta warriors souvenirs from Muslim street not at the terracotta warriors museum souvenir shops. I bought a small terracotta warrior at a museum souvenir shop for a 50 yuan but at the Muslim street it was 10 yuan. Good spacious room. Good amenities. Strong wifi. Comfortable bed. Absolutely loved staying here. Free laundry facilities, you can do your laundry without a fee. Room is cleaned up and made up well everyday. I absolutely loved staying here, I’ll do again if I come back to Xi’an.

This is a popular hotel with overseas tourists right in the center of Xi'an. We arrived at Beijing North High Speed Rail station and foolishly got a taxi into town. For a fifth of the price and half the time we should've gone downstairs and caught the subway, which you will do after reading this. Comfy beds, good breakfast spread, this was just right for the price. 2 minute walk to the drum tower, the bell tower, the Arab street and the subway. Good value - just book it.

Nice hotel in a wonderfully central but quiet location with soundproof rooms (at least we heard nothing- neither from adjacent rooms nor from outside; our room was out back overlooking a courtyard). Staff is very friendly and front desk proficient in English. Helpful upfront information without having to ask for it. Very clean and working air con (I am pointing this out, as the air con was neither working in the Shanghai Bund branch of Campanile Hotel (3 stars) nor in Beijing Legendale Hotel (5 stars), which is supposedly one of Beijing finest). We would happily come here again.

Instant coffee for french-style breakfast and the toast looked like toast, but was super sweet - all in all not the best but neither the worst breakfast. They do have a barrista coffee machine but is not operated in the morning (we have not been at the hotel during the day so we don't know if it was operated during any other time or if its just for "decoration")-but these are really minor complaints, if you want to call them complaints at all.

Amazing location ! Short walking distance to the main attractions (bell tower/drum tower) we did everything by foot. Amazing staff ! Great English, so helpful, so knowledgeable..there is a board with mini help cards for each interest points around, so clever, so useful. Breakfast is great with plenty of choices and the breakfast room is very sunny which makes it a nice moment We used the free self use laundry service, greatly appreciated The area is quiet despite being very central The room is great too, comfy bed and everything needed

The bathroom insulation is terrible... you can hear top floor people shower and toilets... not so nice. But, you dont hear the room next door or corridor (weird)

I appreciate the staff - Viktor and Nancy at the reception, both local Chinese were very attentive and helpful. They assisted with taxi booking since we didn’t have local SIM card. Even their colleagues whom couldn’t speak English would go extra length to translate and assist us with useful information and suggestions for places. Hotel breakfast was okay. Location is walking distance to the Muslim Quarters (food haven for halal). On the check out day, we were surprised that the hotel presented a small gift to my son on his birthday. Now that’s 5 star service! Overall would highly recommend this hotel to international visitors.

Location of the hotel is great. There is a great BBQ restaurant nearby where we went to eat twice as food was great. It is also close to the Muslim quarter road and to the South entrance of the wall. Hotel however needs a bit of renovation. Room is quite large, bed is ok, but overall the room and the bathroom feel a little tired. elevator was quite slow to come. we had the breakfast which had a lot of products but quality could have been better. Staff is great, some of them speak English and they are super helpful!

The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes' walk to the Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter, Bell Tower, and City Wall. In spite of being in a busy area, it is set on a pleasant and quiet street with lots of mature trees. The room was simple but clean and well- maintained. The staff were very helpful, especially Ms. Vivi (who looked after my laundry when I had to leave for dinner) and Mr. Zhu Lin (who gave me many helpful hints on areas of interest around the hotel).

There is nothing to dislike but a tip about transportation. Although near to 2 metro stations, it may not be easy to locate the first time. It is best to take a cab from the airport or train station unless you are familiar with the area or walking with a small luggage bag.
