Good location very clean excellent sleep and shower

Unfortunately I made a wrong booking but the staff did accommodate us but we had to pay another €40 but was to be expected but we had an issue with our safe and so after the first phone call being told someone would be up to our room to sort after at least 20mins it took a terse phone call from my husband to get the response we requested. When we went down to reception after to finally go out there was at least 3 people standing on reception doing nothing so as you can expect didn’t go down too well.

Good location - Very close to the ferry port - which is where we needed to be early the next morning - 7 minutes walk away to some very nice tapas bars and restaurants and ice cream shops. The hotel has recently been refurnished. The room was okay, the bed was excellent ! Air con worked well, nice view over the pool and sea. We have stayed here a few years ago and it was not so good, the refurbishment was much needed and they have done a good job.

103.00 Euros per night is a little over priced. Very hard to get taxis.

Fabulous view of harbour and sea. Hotel has been updated and renovated since our last stay. Very nice breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and cheeses etc as well as cooked foods.

No table and chairs on balcony. No coffee and tea making facilities. Presumably these will be provided as renovation proceeds. Limited evening menu. As a vegetarian I was disappointed they didn’t have oat milk but the almond milk they did have was actually very nice. Nowadays so many people prefer milk alternatives it would be a good idea to keep up.

Excellent view overlooking the entrance to the harbour and the Cable Ingles. Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Good location near shops and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the historic quarter.

Coffee/tea making facilities would have been welcome, as would a small table on the balcony. Edge of bath recessed into wall making it somewhat difficult and hazardous for the elderly (like me) to get out. A simple grab rail would solve the problem. The floor level display in the (rather old) lift was unreadable.

Great hotel, breakfast was very good with a large selection of food. Fresh orange juice and excellent coffee which was a bonus. Beds were large and comfy, rooms had a nice view. Good central location

Pool was very small with only a few sun loungers. No parking available as it was full but we were given the location of a public car park nearby which cost €23 a day. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Fantastic location, views (especially from the upper floor rooms, looking to the sea). Friendly staff. Freshly renovated hotel with tradition, everything is new and working in the room. No problem at all, despite some other recent reviews, perhaps things are corrected quickly. Very good breakfast.

It was not easy to switch off the fan. Some rooms have blankets, others not (but you can ask for it). One elevator working yet.

Property was renovated, is very nice , modern and comfortable beds. It us well located.The breakfast is really good the best I have had in hotels. The restaurant food was also very good and they are open all day till midnight. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend the hotel

Unfortunately the shower water leaked out to the bathroom floor. Called, someone came to fix it, but was still not fixed.

I loved this hotel, from the moment I arrived I was greeted with a lovely welcome from the staff on reception, and my room was absolutely fantastic, much larger than I expected with a terrific view. Location was excellent and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. There is also a lovely pool area with friendly bar staff, I think this hotel deserves a 5 star review.

I loved everything.

Younier at reception was super friendly and helpful. The beds were very good for both of us. Breakfast was ample. Excellent coffee. We could not use the pool as the weather was overcast and chilly. The shower had good pressure. Complementary water in room. All tapas bars are within a ten minute walk. We liked the Georgian bar/restaurant opposite the theatre Cervantes. Excellent food and drink at very reasonable prices. The mercado central is also not too far. All in all this hotel is highly recommended and we will come back for another stay.

Staff in all areas of the hotel were warm, welcoming, and friendly. Spotlessly clean everywhere.

Facilities in room lacking. No kettle or coffee maker. Breakfast looked good but hot buffet food was just lukewarm/cold. Eggs and pancakes cooked fresh to order great touch but from the fresh fruit and cereal sections...expected more selection and better quality ingredients.
