Everything about this hotel, we liked. The reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was really comfy and soundproofed so even though we looked out onto the main street, when the windows to the balcony were closed, we couldn't hear a thing! I asked to be on a lower floor and they gave us a first floor room. Perfect! Breakfast was lovely too though we paid for that when we got there and it was good value. Great central location and only 15 minute walk from bus/train stations This is one of those places that you hesitate to praise too much because everyone will want to go there and it might go up in price but I must say, it's the best place we've stayed in, in Almería by a mile and we've stayed in a lot.

Costasol is a beautiful beautiful hotel. We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room, the size was big and you had everything you needed. TV, fridge, coffee making , the shower room is clean, and there was a balcony. Air con is very silent.

Hotel was located within 10 minutes of bus and train station. All other attractions were in walking distance. Breakfast was continental but excellent choice and very clean. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, going on line to find information for us. We would certainly recommend this hotel. Plenty of bars and tapas available close by.

Not the hotel's fault but there was no Tourist information office so we only had a map of Almeria, supplied by the hotel, but venturing further afield was difficult. Also the main museum in Almeria was closed for refurbishment and no-one seemed to be aware.

The hotels location is excellent and close to the Cable de Anglais it is also a short walk to the old town and the fortified Cathedral. The hotel room was comfortable with all the standard facilities you would expect. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. There are vending machines in the foyer for snacks and drinks we liked the coffee and thought this was also priced well. It also has a roof solarium which is excellent for a lazy afternoon.

Loved our stay at this hotel, the rooms are not luxurious but they are clean and comfortable.

Fine room size with comfortable single beds. Appreciated the water that was in the otherwise empty room fridge. Access to hotel convenient for arrival by car - we used the car parking just around the corner. Not sure what the car park discount was by paying at the hotel - it was still €14 for 1 x overnight. The hotel has a small dining area for breakfast - but we did not use this. (Honestly cannot say if it is open for dinner/lunch - there is ample choice out and about in the town anyway).

Overall - a convenient location for overnight and nothing stands out as "unliked" during our stay.

Fantastic hotel with traditional lobby and 24-hour reception desk, right on the tree-lined Paseo de Almeria, five minutes walk from the centre of the old city. The rooms are super-clean, the beds super-comfortable, and the buffet-style continental breakfast in the salon downstairs was generous. The staff were very helpful, and provided a kettle at our request.

It was all good. We'd particularly requested a room with a bath, which turned out not to be available, but we got an upgrade to a better room with a balcony looking out over the street instead. For one night this was great, although if we were staying longer it might have been a bit more of a problem!

The staff were very patient with me, a non Spanish speaking English woman, but we did get to understand each other as my understanding of Spanish improved. The staff were always ready to help and offer advice and the cleaning staff were always exceptional.

They don't have a laundry service, but there are several launderettes within a 10 minute walk. They don't have a dining room, except for breakfast, but there are literally hundreds of places to eat within a 15 minute walk of the hotel. So both of those things were not really a problem.

The hotel was an excellent location for walking to historical sites. The lobby was beautiful; the room was small with a double bed filling most of the available space and an equally small bathroom. As recommended by the hotel, we parked in the nearby Americentro underground parking facility, but we did not take their advice to download the TelePark app to obtain a parking discount. Instead, on checkout, we showed the parking ticket to the front desk; they charged us a discounted 11 Euro fee for overnight parking and gave us a pass to give to parking garage employee to exit the garage. That worked. We appreciated the 24 hour fully staffed front desk.

We would have preferred a larger room.

Very good location, friendly staff, spacious room, good mattress, good shower. There was no noise disturbance from the the very busy street. The window and the balcony door of our room where double and had a shutter, and curtains. So street noise and sun could be avoided if wanted. The bathroom had a good size and a very good shower, a small extra shelve or a small table to place one s things would be appreciated.

I got an allergic reaction from the bed sheets which made my nights uncomfortable. Also, the walls to the adjacent room might not be enough insulated because during night one could hear a person coughing and sneezing in the adjacent room.
