I had a wonderful stay at Plaza La Reina. The suite was very spacious, and the in-room washer, dryer, and fully equipped kitchen made it especially convenient for a medium- to long-term stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring great rest every night. The location is also fantastic — just a short drive to the Getty Center, and within a 4–6 minute walk you’ll find Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, 99 Ranch Market, CVS, and plenty of great restaurant options. It truly made everyday living easy and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the service. Whether it was Helen and Troy at the front desk during the day, Johnny at night, or the housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. They were always ready to assist right away and truly put themselves in the guests’ shoes. Overall, the level of service here exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Plaza La Reina to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.

The furniture is elegant and well-appointed; only a couple of the leather surfaces showed a bit of wear and could use some maintenance.

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem! The location is perfect—right next to UCLA, with convenient access to target/trader Joe and restaurants. Though small, the property feels charmingly retro and stylish, making it a great Instagrammable spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, promptly resolving any requests we had. Our studio room was compact but cozy, and we especially loved the two sunny balconies—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The kitchen, however, was a bit cramped and had basic cooking tools. The dishwasher required pre-rinsing dishes to get them properly clean (a minor hassle for longer stays). On the bright side, the washer and dryer were total lifesavers—fast, quiet, and efficient!

The staff were exceptional. Helpful and friendly at all times. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We cooked breakfast every day and it is so nice to heave everything you need. Trader Joe's is a 5-6 minute walk away. The location is incredible if you want to be in the heart of Westwood and near UCLA. We also used their parking which was very secure and convenient. The hotel is a little pricey but really you are renting the equivalent of a small apartment with daily service in the heart of Westwood.

We love the small second floor courtyard. It would be nice to have a few bistro tables out there so you don't have to go to the roof for outdoor seating.

great location, about 15 minutes walk to UCLA, spacious room, in room washer/dryer, secure parking with ample spaces. The staff let me leave my car in the garage for a few hours in the afternoon after my check out.

The pillows were a bit lumpy, which made sleeping less comfortable. The refrigerator, although the display showed 34°F, was at least 20 degrees warmer inside. I mentioned this to a maintenance staff member who happened to be nearby, and after checking it, he simply said, “That’s as cold as it’s going to get.” Unfortunately, some fruit I stored in there developed mold by the end of my one-week stay.

The hotel and staff were wonderful - the bathroom was stocked with mini shampoos, a shower cap, a small button re-fixturing/fabric mending packet, as well as a bath robe and two shower head heights which was really nice. The kitchen came fully stocked, including with a small dishwasher and dish soap. Pots, pans, collendar, cooking and eating utensils, mini fridge, microwave, cups, bowls… it had basically everything. There was also an in-unit washer/dryer (stacked, separate!) with laundry detergent and a nicely sized closet, ironing board, and a safe. I can’t remember if it was also stocked with an iron, but I imagine it was.

The parking is really expensive ($45/night) but parking is also an upside. There was street parking as an option as well that would have been FAR cheaper, but then you don’t get the benefit of the private garage, so you just have to pick your battle and decide what you really prefer: security or affordability. The parking spaces are a little small (but I parked on first-level compact parking) that level was pretty well lit.

Location! Practically across from the Hammer Museum (I went there 3x) and walking distance to Westwood shops, dining, UCLA. Great staff service! Room is beautiful! Quality high end finishes, luxury touches, remodeled, and kitchenette and washer/dryer. Spanish hacienda style (my personal fave). Very comfortable bed. Rooftop patio is peaceful for reading, morning coffee, sunning. Great location for quick Lyft/Uber to...LACMA, Century City, Beverly Hills, Sta Monica Pier, Venice Beach

Only issue is that by design of place, can hear (at times feel) people above you..walking (!) At one point in the evening, the traffic above would make my living room walls SHAKE! It can be disturbing to your peace. Staff offered to reach out to persons above to keep quiet. But I feel it's a design challenge / flaw vs the other hotel guests. No natural sunlight in my room. Windows faced a parking garage/concrete building, but it was still private and we would spend our days sightseeing.

We loved our room which had 2 balconies, a full kitchen and washer and dryer although we did not need anything other than the refrigerator. The rooftop was very comfortable and ideal for enjoying champagne. {see photo}

One of the front desk staff was a lady who checked us in and out and she was very unfriendly and inhospitable, almost to the point that we asked ourselves if there was something we said or did and could not come up with anything. To the contrary, the other front desk person, Troy, was the antithesis of this lady, being very warm, professional, coordial, helpful and accommodating.

It was lovely and very spacious (we stayed in a room that had a sofabed) and happened to have a washer/dryer as well. The bathroom and shower were also comfortable and roomy. At first, we were put in a room that did not match what we had booked, but Troy took care of it. He went out of his way to make sure our reservation matched and made sure we had all we needed. We really appreciated his hospitality. The hotel is near lots of restaurants within walking distance so that was also convenient.

After the mistake was fixed, it was great!

My 3rd stay. Excellent location to visit UCLA. Clean with all the amenities needed for a short or long stay. Each room I have stayed in has a small kitchen with 2 stovetops and washer/dryer but I don't know if that is true of all rooms. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels are so soft and the robe was really comfortable. Good wifi and actually had cable TV which is unusual for most hotels now. There is a small rooftop gym. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I had to move my wall charger to multiple outlets because it would not stay plug in to the outlets. It would be nice to have 2 bath robes.

The room is very spacious. It has a small kitchen, coffee maker, table for two to have breakfast, and the best is the laundry machine and dryer in the room. Very convenient for traveler. Outside the room is a lovely fountain garden. The bathroom is also big though not the modern style. But the the water came out nice and strong.

There is a very small window with no blind on top of the door. The light came in from the window. But it's very small and high, so it's ok. but it would be nice if it's covered. It's not the trendy hotel, but the decorations were done in real wood, it makes the room calm and cozy. The underground parking space is very safe, but you have to pay 40USD per day.
