Location was wonderful, right on the water. Could hear the waves from my room. Beach was great, perfect way to start the day! Staff were SO friendly! I got there right as the restaurant was closing and they let me order take out for my room. Food from the restaurant was amazing! I had the Butter Chicken and salad and it was delicious! Also pet friendly location - dog loved the beach!

Certain parts were a little outdated. Bed side light didn’t have a switch, had to plug in or unplug to turn on or off.

Beautiful Views of the water and beach area from the main window. Picnic tables and fire pits out front for use. Tim’s and Esso are right across the road. 5 mins from the town of Thessalon and right next to highway 17. Great spot! Room 27

Carpet in the room but it did not smell bad, and super large pillows that gave me neck pain….nice pillows but bring your own if you sleep with a flat pillow like me.

Great location right off the hwy, with beautiful lake views and small private beach. Very refreshing roadside motel that is kept very clean and comfortable. The pizza from the on-site restaurant was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Perfect spot to spend a night, if only more affordable roadside motels were like this one!

The view was exceptional! Can’t get much more beautiful than that! Also liked that they accepted dogs. Having a fridge was nice for water Far enough off the highway to not hear the traffic Nice big property to give the dog a little stroll Owner was lovely and friendly Rooms were clean and welcoming Great having a variety store and Tim’s across the road

The bath tub drained water very slowly so by the time the shower was over the water was up to shins!! But nice water pressure. The heater randomly turned on and of about 30 times within a couple minutes but then would settle down. Happened middle of the night and woke us up! Some art on the walls would make it more comfy. As would a duvet but maybe the rooms for dogs didn’t have comforters so they wouldn’t get ruined. Would have been awesome if the restaurant was open but understand it was off season $20/night for the dog was a little costly. I thought it was an extra $20 for the stay The hair dryer in bathroom didn’t work

Breakfast was not included, but a Tim's donights literally across the street. Our host and staff were so friendly while serving up a delicious Indian meal. Canadian food available as well. Loved our stay.

It is not "all brand new" But that was not an issue. It was clean towels were lovely and we lived that we could have an evening meal without having to leave the surroundings.

Right on the waters edge; gorgeous sunset on Lake Huron. Nice they have a restaurant, sadly it was closed for winter, to open in March.

For the price it was worth it, room clean, fresh linen, comfortable bed. The only thing was missing a toilet roll holder

The food at the restaurant was mainly limited to Indian food that was as very spicy. There is no attention to landscaping or grass in front of the units.

Great location. Even though right next to the highway it was still very quiet. All rooms have a lake view and the grounds were well maintained. Traveling with our dog and had lots of space to walk them safely.

Bathtub drain full of hair. had to clean it out in order to have the water drain during a shower. Missing the TV remote for our room but front desk provided a replacement one when asked.

The view was amazing. The shower had excellent water pressure and heat. Close to town and quick drive to a beautiful hike near Wharncliff. The people in Thessalon are beyond friendly, and it was a perfect weekend away in a small town, just what we were looking for. In room thermostat control and the heater works well.

The beds were double size which for a couple to share, were a little small. We had hooed for a queen size bed. Not the most comfortable mattresses, they were hard and old. Sheets clean. One thin blanket per bed so we were able to put both on one bed for warmth. The towels were clean but small, not big enough to wrap up in while getting ready. We are not extraordinarily large people. The floor was old scratchy carpet, not hard wood as shown. One window has a gap on the seam so let's cold air in.

The setting is lovely.

The ownership charged both an administration fee plus a pet fee. This has never happened in previous stays there. One fee I can understand.
