Unlike the established and commercialized resorts we loved amami for it's very homey and and relaxed island life. It was very quiet and calm which made it perfect for us as we lived in a very fast paced city abroad. The staff gave off that close comminuty feel which added a special touch in our stay. It may not have the best facilities, water cut-off once in a while but it was still perfect because of the vibes and atmosphere which made this resort quite special and our stay memorable. Definitely going bqck to this place next time we are in the Philippines.

The food was delicious and the staff helped us with the problem we had with the room. It is in an excellent location, with the beach in front. Excellent place to go to relax with the family.

We asked for a room with 2 beds and they gave us one with a single bed, the staff helped us and provided us with an additional mattress on the floor. Honestly, they were able to resolve it and we were very grateful for that.

At first we loved the property, it was near the beach, spacious. but the room gets very hot and nearly impossible to sleep in if it wasn’t for the provided electric fan it would be impossible to sleep in. but luckily we could moved to a room with AC just a 5min walk from the beach and we loved it. stayed from 7 till 14 of may. Amami beach resort is where you’ll find the friendliest staff who is open for your special requests and glad to provide you with everything you need and want we really enjoy our stay there. and will strongly recommend it to everyone looking forward to our next stay.

I like the food offered in the resort. They served ample servings and their pasta is to die for.

The resort will benefit with upgrade in their beddings, and the general resort necessities like tablecloth, placemats, etc. But, value for money is way up there. Please manage your expectations as this is not a 3 star nor a 5 star facility. But the beach and the beach activities?? - a 10/10

Great resort at the beach, laid back, great experience. Not a luxury resort though, more a beach-camp/eco lodge with chickens cats and dogs running around and generally a very relaxed atmosphere. I loved it, but it's not for people who expect spotless, air-conditioned rooms and upscale amenities. Beach just at the doorstep, plenty of activities available.

Good food for reasonable prices. Great cocktails and friendly staff especially Glen the bar man! Resort is out of the way from busy part of Puerto Galera but short tricycle ride to White Beach which staff arrange easily. Rooms / resort amenities are basic but great for the price. Aninuan beach is 10 min walk away and is STUNNING. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything, loved the decor, so many places to chill, sit, lie with beautiful views, surrounded by greenery in what felt like a local village. Just wish we could have stayed more. Strong fan in the room, best smelling and softest bed sheet ever. Really comfortable and would highly recommend

I really had 5 joyful days at Amami resort. The staff were really friendly and gave good vibes. The Resort itself was peaceful, it really gave me nature/beach vibes. Will come back soon!

The island hopping activity went too quick. It should have been around 4 hours but eventually it was just 2 hours and around 30 minutes. It was fun and beautiful tho but I had a feeling the captain of the boat was rushing a lil bit.

Remote location but right at the very quiet beach. We had one attic room and a bungalow right at the beach. The attic room was small and hot but the bungalow was excellent.

Not much to do or anywhere else to eat around the resort. Could use a bit of an upgrade and maintenance.
