The room was wonderful. We really loved that there was a balcony, and it was a large room for us because our dog travelled with us. We paid extra for breakfast, it was affordable and superb. We really liked the location because it was halfway our journey to the Mediterranean coast. Furthermore, it was near nature which makes it a tranquil location, our dog specifically loved that. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Overall, the hotel was down to earth, family owned, with a human touch.

That we only stayed one night. I wish we tried to stay a little longer. I was a bit confuse about the self-checkin and how it works. We didn't need to because we arrived before the desk closed.

We had to enter France first because of the visa situation of the other family we were traveling with. We chose this place because of its proximity to Europa Park, Freiburg, Colmar, Mulhouse and the airport. It is very close to the border. It is easy to get anywhere by car. The view from the balcony was very nice. Room size was perfect.

There was a language problem, since it was a local accommodation, very few people spoke English and those who did were not very good. Breakfast was not great for us but it would be good for locals and other nationalities. The restaurant was nice but nothing suitable for children and there was no English menu. At least they could prepare one or two English menus for those who do not speak French.

Foods are really tasty, especially dinner is good, they have free otopark and electric station.

The employees do not know English at all, I think a hotel of this capacity and location should have employees who know English, and there is also a very serious food smell in some parts of the hotel. Finally, when you want to leave the hotel at night, only 1 door opens and there is no receptionist, there is a photocell lamp when you exit the opened door but it does not work and walking in the dark in the forest can be scary. But these are all very minor things, if I go to that area again, I would stay at that hotel again.

Beautiful location, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine with good coffee and bread ,homemade confiture, cheese and fresh fruits. Children are for free. The room has a balcony with a stunning view over the lake!

The only negative thing we experienced is that people are smoking in the balconies. We slept with the window open, - which is necessary because there is no internal ventilation, you smell the smoke inside the room.

A quiet location, on an island, between the three branches of the Rhine and its canals and alongside a small nature reserve. Clean modern comfortable hotel, with on site parking, and with hard working welcoming and attentive staff. Rooms have balconies with rural river views. An easy drive to Colmar or back across into Germany. This hotel was an oasis of calm in what can be quite a hectic tourist hotspot - highly recommended for a short stay.

Not much else nearby - a bonus for us but if you want bright lights you'll need to drive.

The location was great, directly in the river Rhine between Germany and France, you only cross the bridge and that's it. The room was really nice with a beautiful view. The bed really comfortable, and the pillows are the best ones I never had! Also they have a big parking place, and I think is important because I love road trips and usually is really hard to get nice places with parking place without extra cost. They have also restaurant with breakfast options that sadly we didn't have the chance to taste, but for sure next time!

The only thing I can mention that I don't like was I could hear the tv in the others rooms next to us, or the flashing on the toilets, or if I wanted to sleep past 10 I could hear the vacuum cleaner in the next room. But that's my personal perception about noise.

Nice quiet location on the island in Rhine river, overlooking little lake. Walking distance to Breisach am Rhien with shops and restaurants. Also very good restaurant directly in the hotel. Excellent choice for turists, who want to cycle in Alsace or in Kaiserstuhl/Freibourg area. Good breakfast. Room with balcony, comfy beds.

The hotel room was very spacious with lovely fixtures and fittings and a wonderful view of the lake. The general facilities were very good and breakfast was lovely.

Unfortunately we arrived for dinner and were told that they had stopped serving hot food. It was our wedding anniversary and we had travelled a considerable distance so this was disappointing news. They did agree to make us a light hot meal which was some compromise.

Everything was lovely, clean and beautiful! The hotel has a convenient parking place. The room was exactly as displayed in Booking images. There is a comfortable sofa with a nice outside terrace which we used to enjoy the beautiful river stream!

Toilets and bathroom are separate but we were surprised to find that there was no door to the bathroom (toilets has a door). It bothered us at first but we got used to it quickly since the room was lovely

excellent for a one night stop over when traveling north to south or south to north. it’s a nice quiet location on the Rhine island between the Rhine river and the Alsace canal - surrounded by nature, on the boarder between france and germany. very friendly personal and excellent dinner restaurant - we enjoyed the freshly made flammenkuchen.
