We are a young couple in our mid-20s, and this was our first time staying at this lovely hotel — we were truly astonished! We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the service exceeded our expectations. Branded drinks, delicious food, and a different selection at the evening buffet each day made every meal feel special. At lunchtime, we usually ate at the pool bar, where the menu was extensive and the food consistently tasty. We were slightly concerned after reading some reviews about the rooms, but we booked a basic room with a balcony and no sea view — and it turned out to be absolutely lovely. It was spotlessly clean, had a large balcony with a peaceful forest view, a spacious fridge, a separate toilet room, and a very tranquil atmosphere. We stayed for 8 nights, and during that time, everything was smooth and relaxing. The shuttle bus to the beach was very punctual, and in just a few minutes we were at one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca. The pool area was also excellent, with both the outdoor and indoor pools pleasantly warm. Entertainment was on a very high level. There were plenty of sports games and activities — Mateo, with his enthusiasm, made every game fun and engaging. Neftali, a very kind young man, crafted amazing cocktails, and waitress Alba was also incredibly kind and attentive. A special thanks goes to the reception team, especially Alice and Rasa. Rasa was not only friendly and professional but also extremely helpful — she showed us a map of the island, gave us great tips on what to visit, and explained all the hotel services clearly. People like her truly make you fall in love with the hotel even more. With the hotel in such a beautiful location and such amazing staff, this was our first visit — but definitely not our last. We’re already looking forward to coming back and have even recommended it to our relatives!

There was no things we didn’t liked

Valentin Son Bou is a nice hotel near the Son Bou beach. We paid for the all inclusive and loved the food and drinks. There was a bus that shuttled people to and from the beach which was very handy. The rooms were big. The staff were very attentive too.

The air-conditioning in the room was okay but could still get hot. Unsure why but the temperature went up in the middle of the night (timer maybe?) So we had to adjust it back down as it became too hot. The rooms were a bit dated but was clean which is more important.

Huge choice at breakfast buffet and nice seating space out on balcony. Large pool that was not too busy in October. Rooms comfortable, with air con and large balcony, relatively quiet even though looking down onto bar/pool area. Location is fine if you have a car to get around the island; but even if not, only 10 minutes walk to beach, and free bus if you don't want to walk up the (very) steep hill is a useful service.

No kettle in the room so not able to have a cup of coffee. There was a fridge, but it leaked. Restaurant situation is not ideal if you only do B and B; although the website claims they have 4 restaurants, one is a fixed price buffet (and quite pricey for what you get); one is the pool bar, only open til 6 so no good for evening meals; and the others were bars not serving food. No public transport available; taxi to airport was around 30 Euros, which is a lot to do both ways if you're on your own.

Breakfast buffet was amazing, we ate a couple of times in the buffet restaurant as well and they do themed evenings too. The nightly entertainment was an unexpected bonus. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean. Free shuttle to/from the beach but a very pleasant walk down too (15mins)

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like about the hotel. It is situated at top of a steep hill but this was no issue as there was a shuttle bus up and down and after 8pm we just got a taxi up which was no hassle either and cost €7.50

Nice and complete breakfast with friendly staff. The room was spacious with a separation between the bathtub and toilette. The balcony was nice and inviting for additional end of the day rest listing the birds and trees.

The reduced number of parking spaces within the property premises. Guests marked the best swimming pool beds just before 8AM and show up 10AM or later which is unpolite and goes against the property policies. Nonetheless, did not. see any staff looking at this situation. When using the shower was not able to prevent water all over the bathroom due to inefficient shower curtain.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, daily housekeeping, air conditioned, close to son bou beach

The evenings are filled with activities in the main area, starting from bingo at 9pm and various performances from 10-11:30pm. With a room with sea view in the main building, you can hear the singing and cheering unbearably loudly making it impossible to sleep— it will be a problem if you have an elderly or young children who need to sleep early. The rooms are very dated and are in need of complete refurbishment especially the kitchen and showers.

Breakfast was brilliant as was all the food. We were AI and appreciated the range of drinks available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms, as other people have said, are a little dated and our A/C could have been better but we managed.

I didn’t like all the plastic bottles that were used for water. They should install water fountains.

Fabulous setting, great hotel, fab staff, great entertainment every night. Fabulous pool.

They didn’t have the show kitchen this year where a chef serves on the special nights which was really missed. All they had in that place was 2 veggie dishes. Bring the shoes kitchen back, it was wonderful and now it’s really missed

Meals are amazing, the pool and activities. Great beach near to to the hotel.

Does not have coffee at dinner. The room was not very clean we had some sand on the ground and the door to the bathroom did not work very well. The fridge in the room is minimal. The phone in the room did not work.

I stayed at Valentin Son Bou for 1 week all inclusive on my own and had the best time. Upon arrival, my room had a leak from the aircon but within half hour I got moved to another room (with a sea view which was an upgrade!) All staff were extremely nice, either at the restaurant, bars, cleaning and reception. The pool was amazing, and there were always subbeds available. There is a free shuttle to the beach which is convenient, but I wasn’t a fan of Son Bou beach, I think other beaches in the island are more stricking. The location is a bit isolated so if you want to do something at night you definitely need a vehicle. I rented a scooter for 2 days from reception and I definitely recommend it, it’s the best way to explore the island! The food was good with a lot of choice. Overall I’d definitely want to come back!

Music/entertainment was really loud until 11pm. Also I wished there were a couple more choices of cocktails in the all-inclusive package.
