The room was amazing, clean and really well appointed. We had the suite with little private plunge pool as a treat but stayed before in the main building (standard room) and both were good. The staff including Andrés, Anna, Paulo and Carina were all unfailingly helpful, as were the staff in the restaurant and the cleaners, thank you all. We ate at the restaurant 3 nights out of the four that we stayed, the food is very good. You can walk to the nearby town which has a few eating options including Chic which was lovely. This is our second visit and won’t be our last!

Nothing really. If I had to be picky the breakfast area seemed a bit cramped especially if you had a plate in one hand and wanted to get a coffee say - very little room to set your plate down en route.

The staff were really excellent, the hotel buildings, grounds and pool were beautiful and beautifully kept, and the rural setting lovely. The food was also excellent. The bathroom was lovely with a fantastic shower.

One or two very small details, such as the plugs in the bathroom did not hold the water. The hotel prides itself on water conservation, so this should be an easy fix. We would also have liked a bit more cupboard space. Lunch was quite limited (appreciate it is a small hotel) and had to be taken outside. Similarly, a few more snack options would have been good.

The setting of the hotel in its grounds is beautiful. The pool is also beautiful - really lived up to our hopes. The staff were very professional and helpful. Being able to eat in each night we were there was very convenient and delicious.

We loved being in the main house but it did mean the bathroom was slightly outdated, although very well maintained. We do prefer a separate shower cubicle. The hotel is down a very narrow road which we didn't want to drive down in the dark. We were able to eat in the hotel at night so that was very easy for us. It did not spoil our enjoyment of our five days there.

The pool was a beautiful space set in landscaped grounds. It was never busy or noisy. Tranquillity abounds at the hotel. Turtle doves sing and it is always peaceful in the restaurant and seating areas around the grounds. Adults who like good food, quiet, a rural location and good service will like it. Unless you want to get taxis, a car is useful here. The food at breakfast and dinner was great, wholesome, fresh and varried.

I thought the pillows were a little hard but apart from that, nothing.

Having stayed at several „agroturismos” on Menorca, I can safely say that Binigaus Vell is my ideal choice - this was my second stay here and it only proved this again! It perfectly matches my Menorca type of short holidays expectations. The staff is always on hand and very helpful yet not overwhelming; the breakfast is my favourite time - simple, fresh, good quality; the pool is always nicely quiet ; the location is superb, you can drive to eithet end of the island very quickly. What I also like about Binigaus is the fact gow quiet it is - there is no evening entertainments as such (eg. loud music, busy bars) - probably won’t suit everyone but for me this is just ideal. The hotel is also excellent at being super clean, the rooms are always tip top!

We moved rooms to one of the suites by pool - the value of this top rated room was exceptional. Lovely pool, very nice presented property. Breakfast was good and GF well catered for. They should have advertised better what was on breakfast menu - Bacon is available ! Staff were all delightful and very helpful. Very quiet hotel - don't bring anything noisy here !

Well they don't operate a bar and we did miss that. The 'honesty bar' system works but they have no wine and no lemon/lime with a G&T etc. We enjoy a nice bar atmosphere and this is a weakness. The snack system for lunch works OK but the range and quality of lunch snacks was average. The lower category rooms we originally booked are expensive for what they are, and not good value relative to the more expensive categories which are much larger.

The bill at the end. It is obviously aimed at a certain income bracket.. all very tranquil and pretty and quiet… and the staff are all wonderful.Perfect for couples who just want to unwind. But the add ons quickly mount up. we just found it a very expensive two nights in the middle of nowhere..

Beautiful location, extremely peaceful atmosphere and very tasteful throughout. Staff were all cheerful, helpful and friendly. The walk through the woods to Binigaus beach is wonderful.

Evening menu is lovely, but this kind of haute cuisine might suit a more metropolitan audience. Some of the visitors to this rural setting have done activities such as horse riding, hiking and swimming and will need something more substantial. I could have eaten a burger and chips afterwards.

Staff were wonderful--great communication, friendly and kind. Beautiful grounds, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Lovely breakfast with some gluten free options, dinner was also delicious and unique. Pool was perfect after a day of exploring.

Mini bar items were limited and at a place like this, should be included in our opinion

I had an amazing stay at the hotel! The hotel premises, garden and room are beautiful, an understated luxury boutique hotel. Nice breakfast, very friendly staff and amazing swimming pool with a view to the ocean from afar. Also a great location to get around the island as it’s very central in Menorca. The best call in Menorca is to stay at a rural hotel and I couldn’t recommend Binigaus Vell more. Would definitely stay there again when I go back to Menorca.
