Villa Apmphawa set in a beautiful location, 5 mins tuk tuk to the floating market and 10/15 minutes tuk tuk to Umbrella Street. The tuk tuk man gave us his number, so we were able to call him when we needed to be picked up. It is set in beautiful surroundings and a beautiful garden area. There is a waterway that runs at the bottom of the garden, perfect for watching the local wildlife. We spotted monitor lizards, kingfisher birds, and squirrels running through the trees. The staff were really helpful and we were greeted with a lovely refreshing drink. Rooms were large and airy and comfortable beds. Breakfast was beautifully served and really tasty, and the lady that served us was really attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We stayed two nights before heading back to fly home from BKK. Could quite happily have stayed longer.

Nothing not to like. However if you are looking for something lively, it may not be the place for you. We often had the pool to ourselves, and it felt like we were the only ones staying. It's perfect for relaxation and to be able to wind down.

From the welcome we received on arrival, until being presented with a bag of cookies on departure, the whole experience was delightful. Villa Amphawa is in a great location to your around the many interesting sites in the province, from floating markets to exceptional seafood. A trip here wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Umbrella Market, just check the train times first. The staff are so attentive, but not in your face. I highly recommend this place and will return.

- Breakfast is nice but not so many options. However, we are happy with those choices as it varies enough to fill. - Room size is average and there are spaces for our luggage - Room is clean and all facilities were working fine. They provide towels / hair dryers / slippers which we love - They offer daily cleaning and private parking spaces - Staffs are all super friendly and very helpful - Location is good in terms of quiet and privacy. If you don't have car, then it's gonna be difficult to travel

The only downside would be UNSTABLE hot water. It was a bit annoying when taking shower. Sometimes it's boiling hot and then another minute it was freezing cold.

The pictures don’t do it justice we were the only ones there the first night, it’s spotlessly clean and very peaceful, very nice decor inside and was perfect for visiting the floating market, umbrella market etc , the staff were very helpful

From the moment you arrive you are taken care of by very nice staff which pay attention to details and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The property is new but gives the feeling you have arrived at an old french/english colonial style place. Antique furniture decorates the place and there are many corners that invite you to sit and dream. The service is well above average for a place like this. Excellent is the right world.

Simply nothing to dislike

A bit thank you to the staff of Villa Amphawa for being very friendly and helpful. Beautiful clean rooms, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast in quiet location. It was great to hire a bicycle ( free of charge )to explore the neighbour hood and the local floating markets. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

absolutely nothing everything was great

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and very helpful. He told us of a nice place to go to for dinner and also organised a tuktuk to take us and bring us back. Breakfast on the patio was lovely, also a lovely clean swimming pool was appreciated. I loved the beautiful furnishings in the common areas.

We liked everything.

The breakfast was very good . The food available from the room service / restaurant menu was a little limited but they did offer to prepare something different for us. The staff were wonderful, attentive and friendly and made us very welcome.

Great, quiet place to relax for a few days. The pool was fantastic. Bit out of the way, but the hotel can arrange a tuk tuk ride into town. Staff was amazing.

Lovely hotel, only stayed one night so did not get to use all the facilities but rooms were lovely and comfortable and breakfast was good.
