Very friendly and most helpful staff, though it did help that several of us spoke French. Modern rooms with everything we needed. We appreciated the elevator. The fact that the restaurant was closed while we were there was probably a good thing, as it was very quiet in the rooms directly above the otherwise lively terrace.

While the hotel is open 24/7 we were not aware that the restaurant is closed for two days at the beginning of the week. However, the nice owners came in especially on their "off day" to bring breakfast to the restaurant for the hotel guests. For dinner, we drove to the surrounding Basque villages for some authentic local cuisine.

Lovely stay in Cambo-les-Bains, out of the hustle and bustle of the beautiful Basque coast. The hotel was clean and quiet; it is above a "cafe" but it is not open in the evening. Our room had a nice full terrace to enjoy a bit of the local ambience and morning sunshine. Lots of nice restaurants in the town, but we arrived without a reservation on Valentine's Day (silly!) and happily made a picnic from the local cheese shop, Basque specialty store and small bio store. Very peaceful. We have lived in the area and I would highly recommend it for a touristic stay in the region, good proximity to the villages, but a bit more serene than staying on the coast. And I really love the coast!

Everything was great. We even lucked out with parking across the street. We loved the old photos in the room; a few more would make it even better!

The room was spacious, very clean and designed in fresh colours with a very nice view - and was very quiet during night time. The breakfast was also served in the room on request. The café served a nice choice of small meals and delicious desserts and and a very good choice of beverages in the evening.

Wonderful, characterful hotel with very friendly attentive staff. Great to stay in this old school, charming place. Definitely be back.

The air conditioning controls went off in all of our rooms at nighttime , so we got too hot .

Café du Trinquet is always a great stay in our journey towards south. We keep turning back every year as it is in a very convenient location. The hotel is very clean, and the village is beautiful.

Excellent location and excellent level of services for this comfy and cozy Hotel. Large bedroom, with Sofa chair, and table good quality of mattress, clean bathroom with a useful heating system to dry towels... . The bedroom had also a mini kitchen with fridge/ microwave and coffee machine! This accommodation exceeded our expectations. excellent hotel, tres confortable/niveau de service remarquable. la chambre etait spacieuse, calme et offrait meme la possibilite de faire une petite dinette (kitchenette)

We have stayed at Hotel-cafe du trinquet for many years now and the service is always impecable. Spacious family rooms, very clean and well located in a very nice village. Everything we wish for after driving a number of hours on our trip. This year the service was once more excellent.

Loved this hotel! We arrived really late and acceding the hotel was made easy by the hosts. Lovely hotel. We had a family room with a large terrace and had our breakfast served there. Breakfast is also lovely. And the hotel is situated in an amazing spot. Make sure you take a walk around. Lovely little shops around. I would definitely come back.
