We found all the staff exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The bedroom was well appointed providing excellent storage for clothes. The bed was comfortable and the lighting worked well. The bedrooms are a very modern design providing everything a guest may require. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Biarritz. We shall definitely stay again on our next visit.

It is not a criticism but a constructive suggestion. Executive bedroom usually provides slippers and bathrobes. Had we known these are not provided we would have travelled with our own. We could not understand why the hotel policy provides two complimentary bottles of water on arrival and no more whether a guest is staying one night or seven nights as we were. These are unimportant issues that did not distract from our stay.

Location on a small quiet street close to all you would need within two blocks: including at least four wonderful restaurants; two streets away from main square and 12 minutes walk to the lighthouse, about 6 minutes to beach, lots of independent stores nearby and carefour grocery is also 5 minutes away. Property: definitely refurbished recently so bed, bathroom are up to date, soundproofing windows. A lift to 2-4 floors and about 5 rooms per floor. Rooms are perfect for solo traveler and for couple if there is no need to work from room ( no desk in room). Staff: wonderful, helpful, passionate about guests comfort. Specifically would like to mention Rafael who could even manage make a reservation on our behalf at a place that supposedly does not take reservations. One minor suggestion: since second key activates electricity in rooms, make mini fridge independently connected to electricity. It does start cooling eventually, just takes time, so items in minibar ( soda, water) are warm on arrival because electricity is off prior to guest check in. Other that that- happy with the experience!

Not property related- more of advise on timing of arrival if you drive: if your arrival time is around 19:00 there is a change parking garage nearby will be busy with cars getting in and out and it will take some effort to find a space.

Lounge area doubles up as breakfast area so not much room to relax in foyer . Steep stairs from street to door and not much space in little road for taxi to pull up . Charging extra €3 for eggs for breakfast when already paid £270 for the night seems a bit unnecessary .

Impossible to alert staff during night about noisy neighbours

It was right in the heart of the sweet and quaint town of Biarritz! Everything was within walking distance. There would be no reason to have a car, unless you happened to drive there. They offered breakfast, which was beautiful. But we chose to eat at the array of restaurants around with incredible food. Our room was lovely with any amenity you’d need.

This is one of the best experiences with the hotels that I have stayed. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the beach, major tourist attractions, the restaurants and shopping area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and speaks excellent English, defying the stereotype of unfriendly French people. Plus they are all female! I was most blown away by its breakfast. There must be 15 different kinds of pastries, savory and sweet. Yum!! Apparently they were all freshly homemade by the staff who not only manage the front desk but were also apparently incredible cooks. I have never seen so many different kinds of pastries in one spread. I like modern decor in general so the hotel interior fits me well. The breakfast/common area has a charming garden. The room is extremely clean and well-maintained. I like that it is located among the residential area that you are not bothered by the noise and the crowd while being conveniently only a few steps away. It’s a nice little boutique place. I will defiantly go back if I visit Biarritz again.

I needed to register every time I wanted to use wifi. It was a pain.

I have never stayed somewhere with staff as friendly and helpful as this hotel. They really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. So warm and welcoming. The hotel is super central, extremely clean and the rooms are really spacious and have everything you could need!

Couldn’t fault a thing about it!

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We changed room on the second night due to an issue with the lights in the first one. The second room was the same price but much nicer (request a room on a higher floor). The toiletries and comforts (bedding/robes/towels) were all great quality. Very good location near town and the beach on a quiet street. They have a nice common area and terrace where we enjoyed excellent cappucinos. Thank you Villa Koegui!

the room on the ground floor is not as nice as those on higher levels. However still very well designed.

Hotel in a great area so handy for walking around beautiful Biarritz

I didn't like that the lady only work till 9 o clock in the evening and than people r left to do what the like I would have like a nite poter to be in the hotel as a sole traveller and a woman I would have felt a lot safer if there was a fire r if other people got mess there would be someone there to handy it

Lovely room, quiet off the main streets, yet close to all public transport, restaurants, market, shopping, sea and beaches. Delicious breakfast, with homemade cakes, muesli, pancakes, served by extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Nice small breakfast room and outdoor area.
