If you would like to experience Biarritz and have only driven through it before then this is a very good place to stay. As they say on the television "location, location, location" and this property satisfies this very effectively. It's facing the Jardin Public pretty much in the center of the town. We parked at the Iraty car park just on the outskirts and €2,20 tickets on the 31 bus took us to 200m from the hotel (bus runs every 15 min and it takes 10 min from end - Iraty - to end - Jardin Public - with only 4 stops in total). The breakfasts are optional, but well worth it as they are healthy, delicious and served with a lovely coffee. The airport is also a reasonable 10 minute taxi away for c. €20 if taken from the airport.

We had the lower floor room, very quiet and delightfully laid out with a koi pond nearby. Our family had the first floor room, which meant they heard more traffic noise. Not sure how they hotel can alter this as they have decent sound-proofing and it's not the hotel that is making the noise!

Super lovely place to stay I stayed in a very quiet room with a view of a beautiful garden very well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was exceptional and there was a beautiful, toilet bidet which I used to wash my feet towels were very plentiful. A big room, beautiful walk-in closet with a light. Turned on when you walked in. Automatically good lighting no carpet absolutely stunning. I absolutely would’ve stayed longer but I had to go see some friends in another part of France. Forgot to say early check-in in the morning was absolutely wonderful and the owner and her son are lovely people

Good location close to the bus stop (Jardin Public) from the airport and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and cafés. The room was spotless and very spacious, with a good firm mattress and pillows. Big bathroom with a bidet and strong water pressure on the shower. It was nice coming back at the end of the day with our room made. Breakfast was also very nice (coffee, croissants, bread, butter, jam, omelette, juice and yogurt). We should have ordered for every day we stayed. The owners were very friendly and accommodating (with our halting French), even their little dog was friendly. It has charm. We had a great stay and would be happy to go back.

Not a big fan of carpeting on floors but they maintain it well so it didn't feel gross.

The location is perfect - walkable to everything in the area. The host was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you needed—nothing excessive, just thoughtfully done.

One thing to note: like many hotels in France, the windows don’t screens and there is no A/C. It’s usually not an issue, especially since the area doesn’t get too hot—but worth keeping in mind.

Family run hotel with lovely furnishings. Our room was spacious with modern amenities. Shower had plenty of water pressure. Close to the centre of town and several restaurants. Perhaps a 7-10 minute walk to the sea. Breakfast was lovely. There were issues with their wifi router so there was no wifi in our rooms but there was wifi downstairs. They were aware and were attempting to fix

This was our second stay here. We were able to check in early which was a great bonus. Hotel is a short walk from the bus stop from Biarritz railway station on route number 5. A 5 minute stroll into town and 10 minutes from the beach. Breakfast amazing, sat in the courtyard garden. Nothing was too much trouble. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

A small, elegant, family-run hotel within easy reach of the sea, the Casino and the Basque restaurants that surround Les Halles. An egg - boiled or fried - and local cheese accompanied the traditional breakfast in the dining room. The perfect base for exploring.

There wasn't much not to like, really

Located right on the central square and Biarritz is so small that getting around to the popular spots by the water was a pleasant 10 minute walk. Friendly host and the hotel has a cosy family feel to it. The entrance lobby doubles as their family living room which was definitely unique and guarantees you a greeting every time you walk in!

There's not much we didn't like. We wet the floor every time we showered, but hey, we're on holiday!

The location was excellent. It's a family run hotel, and everyone there went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay

Bedroom and bathroom were a little dated but didn't take from having a lovely stay

Nice clean hotel with big rooms, right in the middle of the city. Walking distance to beach / harbour. Proper bath in our room!

It was slightly strange walking through the living room of the owner on the way in and out of the hotel. Basically the lobby is their lounge with TV and everything.
