The location was excellent. Very close to the beach. The lady on reception was extremely nice and friendly (Luana?) along with all of the other staff.

Unfortunately the plates and cups in the apartment were very dirty from previous guests. There is an option to purchase a dish cleaning kit, but couldn’t this come as standard in the apartment? There were building works in an anointing building which woke us up around 7.30 each morning, but Hotel Florida can’t be held accountable for this.

Great location, just steps away from the old town and the main shopping centre and less than a ten minute walk to the main beach. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and asked if we would prefer the check-in in French or English. They were happy to provide buckets of ice throughout our stay so that we could chill a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony. A fab room with an amazing view of the sea and the lighthouse. We have been staying here for years but the recent refurbishment of the rooms has taken this hotel to the next level. We can’t wait to return.

We got the jr. suite and it was BIG! AC worked great too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is a 3 minute walk to the beach and lots shops and restaurants everywhere. Great Value!

Very small TV that’s far away from livingroom or bed. There isn’t a mini bar or stocked fridge. I also wish the hotel had provided beach towels whether to use or rent because we had to buy them only to leave them behind. Again overall this hotel was a great value and the staff was great!

We were incredibly impressed. Some of the negative reviews left us concerned prior to checking in. These negative reviews were obliterated by our experience. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable albeit with low ceiling in places. The air-con was excellent as was the breakfast. The location is the big selling point as it.ms proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach is second to none.

We stayed in the room in the attic and while initially I was a bit apprehensive it turned out to be a good choice. Beds were very comfy - roller blinds on outside of window kept all the light out so enhanced our sleep. Very quiet.

Downside - the bedside lights were positioned too far from the bed - Seperate tolilet with no washhand basin so when you went to toilet you had to then go across and wash your hands in the bathroom. Lifts very small not suitable if you had a lot of luggage. No atmosphere in the hotel , reception and lobby area very dark and dingy with a funny smell.

Our room was located facing the central courtyard/roofs of buildings which suited us fine as it was nice and quiet.

We did not like the 'free drinks' in our bar fridge that was offered for the first night. When we arrived in our room the two beer bottles in the fridge were in fact empty! We ordered more and they did arrive promptly which was terrific. However, free drinks for the first night.... come on, 2 beers! What was I (a female) supposed to drink? I think a small bottle of wine should also have been supplied.

Good location good restaurants would return

Car park is compromised as there is no lift to any level and it’s a maze when we arrived a van was blocking access to hotel so couldn’t unload luggage and we’re simply pointed in direction of car park. total nitemare and bad start to holiday

It was clean, very good location, nice view and comfortable room.

Reception services - Not very helpfull. They couldn’t help us schedule transfers, They didn’t provide beach towel - (since is a beach town, thats the least you can do) and little details that could’ve made our experience even better.

Perfect location, flat within the hotel which is good for a family with young children, 3 balconies with ocean view, friendly staff.

Tiny lift so ended up walking up 5 flights of stairs many times a day which is good for me but might be difficult for older clientele. In the flat toilets no facilities to wash your hands, need to walk through the main bedroom to the bathroom.

The hotel was in a great location, very central and surrounded by quality restaurants cafes and bars and close to main attractions that Biarritz has to offer.

The room was very small for a twin share accommodation; however, the room was very clean and comfortable.
