Thierry and Stephanie made me feel at home straight away. They gave me great recommendations for food and sights to see. The room was clean and the location exceptional. I loved it so much I kept extending my stay. I was exhausted when I arrived to Biarritz and left feeling refreshed and renewed. Thank you Thierry and Stephanie, I hope to come back one day! Highly, highly recommend staying at Le Gamaritz.

Spotlessly clean very comfortable Stephanie and Henry where amazing hosts and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is right across the road from Plage de port Vieux a beautiful little beach. The surrounding are in perfect for restaurants and shops We will definitely be back.

The property was fantastic and a very high standard maybe one very tiny thing a few coat hangers in the rooms may be useful. Thank you again for hosts .

Reception was joyous. A great welcome and so helpful with the places to go. Room was big and comfortable and shower an excellent walk in size. Sometimes I like a bath but I don't like stepping into a bath for a shower so a walk in like we had was superb. I walked down to the beach for a swim in the morning and it was glorious. I was astounded by how warm the water was as our beach is in a cove. My eczema disappeared after the second swim and for that reason alone I'd come back. The bars and restaurants nearby were perfect and we had a fantastic stay. As we told the receptionist we are part of the Edinburgh branch of the Arnaud Massy appreciation society. The famous french golfer who hails from Biarritz and won the open in 1907. He was the first Basque golfer to win a major and would be followed by Jose Maria Olazabal and Jon Rahm in later years. Next time we will try to get a game but this time was all about relaxing and enjoying the April sun. Thanks and see you soon.

Two members of staff…Stephanie and Thiery made our stay outstanding. They were very knowledgeable about the area, assisting with bus stops and changes when required. The hotel was very accessible to all parts of Biarritz and we felt safe at all times The breakfast was continental, flavoursome and fresh each day. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would stay again. Thanks to Stephanie and Thiery.

Such a warm welcome from Thierry and Stephanie, the location was perfect in the old town next to a beautiful beach. Lots of bars and restaurants and shops in walking distance. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable we slept so well here. We arrived very early and we could store our bags until check in time. We are already planning our next trip back here.

Perfect position to visit the city and to surf as well. Even if the hotel is located in the city center, there isn't noise at night so you can comfortably sleep. The hotel is renovated, very clean and everything was working perfectly. Bed was really comfortable and the hot shower as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. We managed to park our car in front of the hotel at night and that was perfect! Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning so we couldn't try breakfast.

The hotel was very convenient to all local amenities.Nice and quiet.The room, although compact,was spotless and comfortable.The host was very helpful with plenty of advice and information on where to eat,local attractions etc.The shower was excellent and water was nice and hot.

The WiFi was a bit temperamental and sometimes took a while to connect.It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room and tea/ coffee making facilities

Loved the fact everything was modern and very clean. The shower gel/shampoo are also organic which I personally appreciated it. Very nicely and practically thought and I found it cute. Very well located and close to Biarritz attractions.

Unfortunately the room and bathroom are quite small and being 2 we felt sometimes not having enough space. It was obviously ok for a 2 night stay but probably would not have been as pleasant for a very long stay.

The rooms and hotel were always clean and tidy, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location is perfect for walking everywhere you need to go. The best part about our stay was the lady at the front desk. Throughout our stay, she gave numerous suggestions of places to eat and visit and the best times to do these. Every suggestion was great and made our time in Biarritz.

The location is wonderful, easy to find, near the city center and the ocean. The facilities are great, the bed is comfortable, the room is quite small but compact, very clean, reminds me of Japan hotel. The concierges are wonderful, very friendly and easy going. If I plan on my next trip to Biarritz, will choice the same hotel.

The shower water was not very strong, but I think it's not a big problem. There's no bathroom supplies, such as tooth brush and razor, have to bring your own.
