Perfect in many ways … location .. central to so much - amongst restaurants , including a Michelin starred restaurant right near the front gates ( La Saleya ) The hotel itself has great food too. Situated across from the famous food market Les Halles , you can stroll through there and pickup anything to nibble on … fresh fruit, baguettes, cheese,wine etc … there is a great coffee place inside also Lobita which does flat whites just like Australia ( land of great flat whites!) A supermarket is across the street also. The central location means you can walk everywhere -the beaches are perfect to swim at & there are many to choose from. The hotel itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous garden area where you can relax , it’s such a retreat and quiet spot to unwind.The staff are really friendly and helpful. It really is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all that Biarritz has on offer.

The parking is very tight so a general reminder to all guests that are parking ( or a sign in the car park) to park in the designated spots ( perhaps clearer marking of the bays too ) will help alleviate anger at inconsiderate drivers who take up two bays . Priority for the car park should be given to guests who are paying the 25 Euro per day to park.

A charming hotel located in the heart of Biarritz. The team at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through some frustrating moments when we struggled to find the entrance. Due to roadwork that wasn't reflected on Google Maps, many routes were rerouted, but the staff's assistance made all the difference.

The hotel’s location can be confusing on GPS. Due to ongoing roadwork and numerous detours in the area, it took us about 20 minutes and several calls to the reception before we were able to find the entrance. If you're arriving by car, it's a good idea to call the hotel in advance for clear directions to avoid any frustration.

Exceptional service, good sized family room for 4 people. Live jazz in the garden was a lovely addition, and given the proximity to the rooms - we were able to get some adult time, while children stayed upstairs (so did some other parents, as far as we could tell). Walking distance to everything you need to see. Hotel comes with its own parking, which significantly simplifies arrangements. We would recommend this property to anyone who is travelling with kids and looking for some additional space to accommodate 4 people, as well as some luxury along the way.

The location was fantastic and our balcony room with a slight sea view over the back garden was perfect at the end of the day to sit and have a glass of wine look out and relax. The bed was very comfortable and there was a magnification mirror in the bathroom which I always want. The shower was fabulous and easy to figure out (not always the case). The breakfast was excellent too! The staff could not have been more helpful and their restaurant recommendations were fantastic. Found an additional small family run hotel called Hernani and it you like fish and don't mind the family style 'sharing' a big table this is the place and easy walk from the hotel! If Merlu is on the menu have it! FAB!

Not the hotels fault, but the construction in the city now is very challenging to navigate the closed streets and it took us ages to find the hotel. Perhaps it would be helpful to send actual directions to get to the hotel with all the one-way streets and blocked roads so that the level of frustration is reduced after a long drive to get there. Again, the traffic issues were not the fault of the hotel but some additional help would have been appreciated.

We were upgraded to the beautiful room with the terrace. Was such an amazing space and such a beautifully decorated property (as is the rest of the hotel). Staff were always friendly and helpful. Also location was a plus - not far from the beach and from some of the best restaurants in Biarritz. (Go to Haragia if you can - SO good!)

We were not informed before that the parking was not included in the price of the stay and this was charged at €19 per day, which was a surprise at check out. Other than that everything was perfect.

Only thing I would say that we left our cases whilst broom was being prepared. Some hotels automatically take cases to your room in those circumstances - maybe something to consider as it’s great to return and room is ready with cases already there. Coffee at breakfast not the best I have had - expected better in France.

Brand new hotel, looks nice and comfortable, staff is friendly and reliable, everything looks sooo instagramable!:) Thanks for the postcard, I still keep it!

The only thing is that it was quite noisy at night because there are a lot of bars right near by. Probably it is quieter if windows are overlook the backyard

Great location lovely bar and garden. We arrived early and they only had superior rooms ready. They offered us an upgrade for a sensible price. Nice big room view of the sea. Although a smallish window. Some rooms have a balcony. The staff were excellent helpful beyond what I would expect. Booked restaurants for us and gave us good advice on Biarritz. Private secure parking was also excellent and a reasonable price. The night manager served us drinks when the usual staff had gone. I would absolutely go back. Excellent we had a great time.

It's a very small thing but our room was opposite the service area so every time we went in our out there were trollies of towels and other stuff blocking the corridor.

Stylish Right in the centre of town with loads of shops, restaurants, bars, carrefour and the food market, a few minutes walk from the Grand Plage We had a room on the 2nd floor with a terrace - gorgeous and such a sun trap We ate dinner at the restaurant while listening to live jazz Super comfy bed, luxury toiletries by Ortegia and big luxurious bathroom

Construction on the street prevented gps from guiding us properly. Had to leave car and walk to hotel. The girl at reception (the one wearing glasses) was argumentative, and had a bad attitude. Finally she decided to cooperate to help us retrieve the car snd guide us to the hotel. The rest of the staff, however, was outstanding.
