Clean and beautiful hotel at the edge of the old town, quite place but the rooms are quite noisy. Lucky if you have the luck to stay with quite guests, if not 🤷🏽‍♀️ you‘ll hear that in the night or whenever… but I must say I’m very sensitive in this and not a good reference … very nice staff who rocks the kitchen in the evening with loud music to prepare the evening food session for the restaurant .. for us it was too expensive for what we get, but we really loved the warm and beautiful design the hotel has. And it’s very clean, I loved that. Between old and new. Breakfast was good and local what we appreciated a lot. No industrial food from I don’t know where. Super delicious croissant, home made chocolate spread and also vegan options (little but…) and enough of fresh fruits. We also get a coffee BEFORE the breakfast was open, what I appreciated a lot! We enjoyed surfing in these days and it’s an ideal spot not to far from the ocean. Free water to refill 👌🏻

Hotel Julien is a charming, well maintained and updated historic property with an authentic French feel in the heart of Biarritz. Their breakfast is lovely and customized with eggs and coffee made to order. The property’s outdoor spaces are very nice and their bar/restaurant is open some evenings. As many have noted, the staff (seemingly all female) were exceptional.

Although my room was comfortable, it is an old building with lovely hardwood wood floors so I could hear the guests above me much more than I would have liked. The receptionist offered to change my room after I mentioned it, but it didn’t seem worth the effort since I was only there two nights.

Tastefully decorated room, with wonderful wood floors, in an excellent location close to interesting back streets and a slew of restaurants. Also close to an amazing covered food market and outdoor, quality market selling clothing, sunglasses, bags, etc. that is open until 2pm. Really nice staff and a lovely little personalized welcome note with a couple of delicious treats on the bed. Very comfy bed and a well appointed bathroom. I had a great view across the rooftops. I appreciated having the parking although it did cost an extra 20 euros, but easier than a more distant car park and not any more expensive.

There was an in room kettle, but only 2 bags of herbal tea, which were actually nice, but for coffee drinkers it would require getting dressed to go have a coffee in their dining room, so the lazy coffee in bed morning ain’t gonna happen. Also I find it strange in this day and age that so many hotels don’t have direct USB/USB-c ports in the rooms, so you do need a plug converter and appropriate plug-in outlets to charge your stuff.

Beautiful hotel, very central with really friendly staff who were always on hand to advise and help. Our room was clean and comfortable with lovely little touches like a beach bag, and beach towels were also available. The staff were great to recommend restaurants and places to visit. We would stay there again if we return to Biarritz.

We liked everything about the hotel but a mirror in the bedroom would be a good idea.

The Staff was so professional that it brings warmth to our stay. Angelina is a staff member that we had a first had extremely professional on all parts. We had a issue in our room with the A/C, she immediately went to our room and attempted to correct the issue. Angelina went to locate a new room for us to feel at home. We are from Florida and used to A/C very cold at night, she made that happen. Breakfast she attended us with again as professional, great Cappuccino and other items. The others were so very nice your staff showed Professionalism, Quality of service, Cleanliness and much more. “ Outstanding “

My stay at Hotel Saint Julien was fantastic. Thank you to the incredible team of staff for their warm hospitality. The place is spotless, stylish and really comfortable and there is a lovely garden which guests can use. Great breakfasts are on offer and the hotel is well situated. This is a gorgeous and very well run hotel and I’m eager to return as soon as I can!

A fantastic location for the centre of Biarritz and the staff were very friendly ad helpful. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was very appreciated. Room was cleaned every day to an excellent standard. The nearby food market was absolutely amazing!

The room was very nice but would have benefited from a small fridge. The breakfast was nice but would recommend visiting cafes in the town as they also offer great breakfast.

The entire hotel staff was exceptionally welcoming and genuinely happy to be there. Air conditioning in the rooms, thorough room cleaning, delicious breakfast, and staff members that were happy to answer our questions as well as offer recommendations.

Nothing, exceptional stay.

Stylish hotel with parking (which must be booked in advance). Very comfortable bed and perfect location for walking into beautiful Biarritz. They were great with our dog too. Great stopover driving from Spain, through France and up to the UK.

Our only negative was the room and bathroom were a little small. Fine for one night, but not for any longer. Plus there was the sound of water running during the night. It wouldn’t stop us staying again as the bed was so comfy and the location was amazing.

Hotel decorated with great taste, very friendly attentive staff and perfect location. I had a comfort room with a vue: it fully corresponded to the photos shared on the website. I am surprised it only has 3 stars; better than many 4 stars I’ve been too. I will definitely come back and strongly recommend.
