Very good location walkable to the centre and beach. Good sized room and bathroom. Points to note: Parking needs to be reserved at the time of booking your room and is at an additional charge of 25 Euros. Safe and secure. The reception is in the building opposite, there are signs pointing this out, but worth noting.

Additonal parking charge - it did not state this in the main body of the description on Booking.com, although it is in one of the questions but you have to click on it to see it. The hotel did put the information in their confirmation email, however, we booked last minute so could not make any changes. Personally, would prefer this information to be highlighted in the main text so that it is obvious before booking.

Good sized queen room, with very good sized bathroom. Great breakfast with gluten-free bread on request. Very helpful and friendly staff. Central courtyard garden good to look out on. Only a few minutes walk to Plage de la Cote des Basques, with superb views to the mountains of Spain. Also close to the town centre.

It was no problem for us but just note that there aren't internal curtains (other than net curtains), you have to lean out and close the wooden shutters in authentic French style to have a dark room.

Our room (42) was fantastic! Great size, very comfortable bed, views were incredible even in the shower! Terrace was very big, had sun lounges, table and chairs. We didn’t try the breakfast but it looked delicious and you can eat outside in the garden. We think we were upgraded to a superior deluxe room, thank you Hotel Kemaris. What a great hotel.

Coffee machine in our room was broken.

Room and hotel was spotlessly clean, shower was excellent, kettle/tea/coffee provided in the room, location was very walkable to seafront/town centre. It is a very quiet, well located hotel.

The info on Booking.com doesn't make clear that parking is an additional cost. Other hotels specify how much additional the parking costs in the list of amenities or that parking is on the street.

The rooms are good but the rest of the building is oldish. Photos are well positioned😉 but still ok.

Good Best Western standards – clean, comfy room, competent, kind and courteous staff. In the room there's a kettle, tea and coffee, so that's a positive. Another plus is a toilet separate from the bathroom - this doesn't happen too often. Apparently the more expensive rooms have sea view ;) There's a decent restaurant nearby serving Basque food.

Expectation management more than a complaint: anything beyond room is quite pricey. Parking will set you back 25€ a day (nearest public parking is 10 minutes walking, at the seafront). Breakfast 16€ a pop.

The staff at this property were incredible. Pascal on the overnight and there was another woman (apologies as I didn't get her name) but had some piercings who was superb. Location was great, a little removed from the center which was a nice reprieve from the bustle of the center. Property seems to have been recently renovated. Had the express breakfast which was simple but nice.

The property overall was clean however I don't think our room was cleaned thoroughly enough (there were a pair of socks from the last guest). When we walked in it didn't appear to be unclean but seeing the socks under the bed gave us pause.

When we got in, we were assigned a room that smells from mold, when we complained, we got another room smelling from mold The third time we complained, we were told that there it nothing else she can give us at the same price and we will have to add money. Only when we said we are not adding anything, did she talk to the manager and they gave us the better room, which at last was just fine and spacious enough and was not smelling

We required a room following a change in plan for our family holiday and needed to extend by a few days. The staff were very helpful, the accommodation far exceeded expectations and we would be happy to return for a longer holiday having spent just 2 nights.

There was nothing to criticise about the room possibly two more outside chairs but that was not a deal breaker.

This was a really nice small hotel, just a few roads from the sea, with friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff who made helpful recommendations on cafes and restaurants. We were able to park our car and leave it there until our departure to Biarritz airport in the afternoon, which was great. Our room was well designed, there was no noise overnight and the bed was very comfortable.
