Good location for an overnight stop. This was our 5th time of staying at this hotel on our way home from Spain. The hotel has good, secure, parking. As a disabled person I was able to park in their dedicated parking bay at no cost.

The weather! The hotel can't do anything about this but when it's raining a person in a wheelchair is pretty well done for. Parking in town is very difficult and the walk to restaurants is a bit too far in the rain (we have also stayed when glorious weather making the walk to restaurants very pleasant) in bad weather eating 'fast food' at the hotel is the best option.

Nice location by the river adjacent to a pedestrian path to the centre (5 min). Lots of secure gated parking. The room was basic, but clean and modern with a nice view of the river. Appreciated the big desk and window with river view. The room was larger than it appeared in the photos. Staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and professional. Buffet breakfast was likewise basic but good, worth paying 16€ for the convenience as the nearest cafe is probably in the centre, at least a 10-minute walk. Will definitely stay again next visit to Bayonne.

The tile grout in the bathroom floor looked rather dirty. The toilet flush sprayed toilet water all over the seat.

Great hotel, our second stay here and we enjoyed it both times across a 2 year span. Comfy beds and very clean. Friendly staff. Hotel is pet-friendly and there is a nice riverside walk behind the hotel where you can take your dogs out for a nice walk.

Both times we stayed here on a Saturday. There was a lot of noise coming from the street around midnight. So windows may need to stay closed if you don't want to be bothered by it. Not hotel's fault - but it's rather the central location. Restaurant closed on the weekends - a bit of a letdown. But Uber Eats is efficient in Bayonne and plenty of food spots in town.

The car park is secure. I came on a motor bike and having a secure gated carpark is a must. The location is excellent. The proximity to the center and all the resturants and bars is brilliant. The room is clean, comfortable and you could make a hot drink. The TV has English channels as well as French, German and Spanish. staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and generous.

The hotel should have a policy and a big sign asking customers NOT to visit the resturant in their pyjamas and bath robes. I am sure we all want them to feel at home during their stay but there is a limit. My eyes are traumatised.

Staff were very nice and the hotel also provided a brand new bottle sterilizer for our baby following a query I had made before our arrival. Convenient location especially if travelling by car (only 5 minute walk from the actual city centre by the river). Hotel parking at a very reasonable rate of 10 Euro per night. The family room was very comfortable and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Choice of food at the restaurant was a little limited and could be expanded

Le Bayonne Hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, just a short walk from the old town.

However, there are a few aspects that could be improved. The room was cleaned only when I placed the sign for cleaning, which was unexpected. There was no coffee or tea refill during my three-night stay — only two coffees and two decafs were provided. Also, the pool is quite small compared to the size of the hotel.

Very nice, modern, comfortable and very close in to the historic center of the city, And the pool was just what I needed! Also nicely served by the local and regional bus system. 7 minutes, one bus to/from the train station. Easy bus access to other towns and beaches in Biarritz, Bidart, and Saint Jean de Luz, if you don't want or have a car.

Restaurant staff could use a little improvement. The bartender/manager is very good and personable. I do wish the hammam, sauna was working. My first day there was chilly and overcast so not a good for outdoor swimming . It would have been nice to have that option.

Modern hotel. Nicely furnished, comfy & had everything you needed. Staff were friendly especially in the breakfast area where our border collie was very popular. Lovely terrace to sit & eat the excellent choice for breakfast. Only a short walk into Petite Bayonne, would a beautiful place. Definitely worth a visit & would like to have stayed longer.

Thought the car parking was somewhat expensive for overnight, but it was secure.

Convenient location, short walk to the old town along the riverbank. Convenient parking in gated outdoor car park. Lovely helpful staff on reception who made us feel very welcome and catered for our needs. Hotel was very clean and comfortable with a modern atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

A bit dated in parts but only minor. Bar closed early so didn’t have our usual nightcap when we returned around 9pm.

Great location and very comfortable bed. The room was quiet and a short pleasant walk into the centre of town. The staff were great and even let us check in earlier as our room was ready. Very much appreciated.

Unfortunately the pool is in the shade of hotel in the afternoon, such a shame otherwise this would be an exceptional hotel. If you know to expect this (as we did) then its fine just make the most of the lovely pool while there is some sunshine. I would 100% go back as enjoyed the experience.
