Good value for money, comfy room, friendly staff, nice restaurant attached with good food and also friendly staff, Very good location, especially for just passing through and needing bed for the night, easy to find.

This was just down to our naivety but didn't realise there was no tea/coffee making facilities. There was a vending machine but we didn't have any euros. As we were not stopping for breakfast we had to stop a bit later for a much needed coffee. Website needs updating as it says there is a coffee shop and there isn't. Also says 15% of for hotel guests in the adjoining restaurant but they don't do that anymore,

Excellent location for access to the Autoroute but also for proximity for walking to the town. Tesla superchargers were 10mins walk (max) so it was easy to charge. Very conveniently has a restaurant attached.

We had room two on the ground floor. Reception said this was to enable easy access since we had our dog. The ground floor location was very welcome but room 2 backed on to reception and the stairs to the first floor - quite noisy. 10 euro /night for our dog seemed a bit steep.

Stayed 4 days in all - Lovely low prices hotel with comfortable beds, air conditioning, TV, quite a nice bathroom. Didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast because I am a night owl so I couldn’t wake up early enough, but I could definetely sleep day and night without a problem. The ‘courtepaille’ restaurant next door was very nice and the staff were very helpful, kind and sympathetic in both places. Very satisfied in all :)

There was a very slight lack of hygiene in the bathroom in certain areas, but nothing too bad

Easy to find location, with ample free parking. Rooms are small, per typical Ibis, but adequate. Easy access to the bike trail and bridge into Bayonne and to Biarritz. The bed was comfortable. I chose a location out of town to avoid the all night partying that is typical with the annual fête d’été. It was quiet at night, until the smoke alarm went off at 01:40. That was indeed a rude awakening. The national police responded first, then the fire engines. After 20 minutes, we were allowed to go back to our rooms. I did not smell any smoke, so not sure what the issue was.

Breakfast was disappointing, limited offerings, though the automatic espresso machine made reasonable coffee.

Clean , not noisy and bed comfortable

It was fine but a bit further from the centre of Bayonne than I thought . The end of the bed was close to the wall which also has a shelf sticking out. It was hard to get my suitcase past and to walk past if carrying something

the restaurant was very bad, we have stayed here 3 times and had to use restaurant as nothing local, we will never use the restaurant again. my husband had the chicken casserole and it was dire! We are going back to hotel on way home in 6 weeks will definitely NOT use the restaurant!

Check in was seamless and the ladies did try to get an adjoining room but that wasn’t available, we were early!

My little one slipped and fell on the wet steps outside of the front door. It was really slippery, it was not I able and could be an issue for an elderly person. We didn’t have the opportunity to tell anyone on site.

Room was basic but clean and perfectly acceptable for a one night stop-over. We did not use any facilities as we arrived so late (due to storms in southern France that led to multiple road closures) and only booked the room 10 minutes prior to our arrival. Reception was still open!

It would have been good if the room had a kettle.

This has to be one of the best budget hotels we have ever stayed in. The room looked like it had been recently decorated. The shower was spacious. This was a nice surprise. The front desk service was friendly and professional. We were even asked where in the hotel we'd prefer to stay. The Courtepaille restaurant can be reached directly from the hotel without leaving the building. Good menu, excellent food and service. The menu included vegetarian options which are not always available in France. Well located near the main road in Bayonne. Fortunately we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Being set back from the road obviously helps. A good experience, we will definitely return in the future.

No kettle or drinks provided in the room. We only ever experience this in France. Very annoying after a long journey.

The room was clean and practical. The check-in was easy. Good bus connection between railway station and hotel. Bus stop only a few meters away.

The bathroom was tiny, but it worked. The room was close to a busy road, and at ground level, we couldn't leave the windows open overnight, and it was very warm.
