The location is amazing in the main square, less than a minute's walk to the beach and very close to the beautiful harbour. The staff are very friendly and helpful, letting us leave our luggage and very helpful with the parking access while the town was pedestrianised. They even called ahead of time to let us know the best place to park. The building is beautiful and classic.

It would be nice to have a rooftop terrace option (although to be fair, if you have a balcony you wouldn't need this!) and the rooms weren't overly well sound-proofed through the doors. The bathroom was very small and not much space to open our luggage.

If you want to be in Biarritz in the top place of the whole city, with one of the best views you can get, looking at the beach when you wake up, this is your place! Also, all the amenities are next to the hotel and it will take you literally 5 minutes to go anywhere. The main beach is also super accessible walking distance and the vibrant city centre, restaurants, the market(highly recommended to go for lunch), are also walking distance. Definitely your place if you value distance from city centre and all the local amenities.

Well, if you go by car, fist issue, there is a parking in front of the hotel, but it gets busy super quick, be aware. Also not very cheap. The rooms are all right, but if you are a "big" person, you will not fit easily in the shower and also the room space is more a budget hotel rather than the premium you are paying. Hot water is either Satan's temperature or Ice Age and to go up and down, you can choose from a 50's elevator, that it gives you the feeling is going to fall in pieces at any second, or the good old wooden stairs, which will give you a hell of a creepy creaky noise at every single step.

Wonderful view from sea-facing bedroom with delightful balcony. Superb central location next to sea - convenient for all activities. Charming and very helpful staff. Good value. Tasty meals and great service from hotel cafe outside in square.

Machine produced as opposed to fresh coffee and tea for breakfast. Could cafe staff organize this? Slow draining from bedroom basin.

Great location, lovely hotel with interesting design features. The room was comfortable with a fantastic view. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit tired, so some parts looks a bit dirty, eg the flooring was very old. The shower area looked grubby, but mainly just needed new grouting and silicone. It was not good value for money, I would expect a higher standard of finish and better breakfast for 300 euros per night.

Bathroom area was clean. However small feedback: Bathroom presentation would be better with brighter lighting options. Shower product was available but not topped up in our room. And surprised that hair shampoo and conditioner products were not provided.

room was clean and tidy but a little on the small side, the bed was a little hard for my liking. It was very central, very good underground carpark. The staff are great and speak excellent English and will advise on things to do around Biarritz.

nothing to do with the hotel but be aware they close a lot of roads in peak season and also for events like running races and marches, it is full one one way streets and you could easily take upto an hour to get round them.

The reception staff were incredibly friendly & helpful . Hotel was very clean & had great housekeeping service. The adjacent restaurant was very good & the staff there were always so pleasant. The location in the attractive square was interesting- not noisy. 3 minutes walk to the beach & near shops & restaurants. The rooms are small, but that was ok for the 2 of us. Everything in the room & bathroom was well presented - nice decor. An attractive deck area at the front. A little gem for a reasonable price. Would like to return!

Location is perfect. The market, the beach, the center, the aquarium, restaurants, all nearby within a few hundred yards. Parking entry at 25 yards. Staff is very kind and helpfull.

I didn't like the restaurant that much but good for a snack and a glass on the terrasse.

The location was perfect. It was really central and close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Room was lovely and clean - beds were large and comfy. The staff were fantastic and really friendly helping us out with recommendations and organising a taxi for our trip home. Would stay again!

Nothing, however a small fridge in the room to keep water cool would have been handy (this might be available in some of the upgraded rooms).
